@Bladeuk Yeah, I had that error 25 as well. But I fixed it by literally deleting every single file related to Warhammer 2 on my PC, then rebooting the PC.

Wellll, sod the big companies, I got it back online on my own, only took installing a virtual machine, running a different version of steam to do it, but it's worked!

I started dicking about with PFM/assembly kit for preservation purposes more than anything, so if those're the values used, then that's what's going to get used.

It's only that high as how little effect it has, putting it similar values to the rest meant you hardly saw any benefit from it, obviously you can put it at what you want, just saying that's what the mod had

Never realized the accuracy growth was that high. Not that accuracy ever seemed to do much in WH. Anyways, updated now until whatever issue is messing up your end is fixed.

Thats the half effect mod for Wh2, first line value, second growth_rate, third is scalar

I noticed, which is why I've been tweaking it. If I had the WH2 growth_rate and _growth_scalar values, then I could finally put it to rest, but since the original packfile got yanked from my system when it's taken off of steam, that's not really an option.

A straight up port isn't the same as the Wh2 mod I did, the 2 games are actually balanced differently. Putting the Wh1 mod won't give you the same effect as the wh2 mods had as they've balanced the vanilla game differently

Anyways, I'll probably port over the other two WH1 versions of this mod this weekend, since people seem to be missing them. Unless a miracle happens and the issue fixes itself or an act of god happens and someone from one of these companies actually helps you.

The error doesn't seem very common, and it's not the mod or the picture as they both work fine, I've even tried uploading the mod to Wh1 as a test with the same pack file and picture and it works, but for some reason the server rejects anything I try to upload for Wh2. Steam won't help, they just said they don't support community content, Sega said they don't deal with mods and to post on the CA forums, which I have and CA have never got back to me. I'm a bit stuck at the moment :/

Well, that's supremely odd. I didnt have any trouble porting it myself. The ingame stat growth was a touch off initially, but thats all. I am mindful that Steam has been taking the piss lately so it may be something that just requires some waiting.

It didn't get dumped, I'm having issues with Wh2 updated or uploading due to error 25, I've tried everything to fix it, the last ditch effort was to remove all Wh2 mods as the error is to do with picture sizes. Unfortunately it didn't fix it, and now I can't reupload mods for Wh2 :/

@Kmicic Damage is controlled by weapons, not units, so no there is not. Attack does make them more "killy" as you put it.

@TipTop based on experience triggers already in the engine, no not that I'm aware of. Maybe using scripts you could but that seems an ugly way to do it

Theoretical question.
Is this even possible to make a mod that will add some random perks (or fixed perks) to unit when it reaches level 9.
For example
Imagine your basic swordsman with anti infatnry and resist fatigue perks after level 9
Or same swordsman with frenzy+unbrakable
Or it can add 1 defensive + 1 offensive perk randomly.

@Ravager, the coven of the undeath nerf was made as a request, it wasn't balanced in anyway, just removed from the game as that's what a player wanted. I can make a different version that balances with this mod, but it will take some testing :)

@Bladeuk As you know your mod nerfs vlads coven skill to +1 experience for both vlads army and every other army everyturn but with the mod enabled the skill becomes next to useless. I think if the numbers were changed slightly to say +10 experience for vlads army and +5 for every other army (or whatever you feel is a fairer experience gain) to actually make the skill worth the point in it because as it stands with the valuable veterans mod (i use quarter effects version) the skill is useless because it takes so long to see any benefits from it, your mods are great by the way and i am just giving some constructive criticism to make your mods better than they already are (i consider VV's to be an essential TWWH mod) so please just take it as what it is just a little advice and thats all :steamhappy:
