Does the satan get two moves and an attack?? I have one disorientated, he moves, stops, moves again, then laser beams me for a fair bit of damage.. And does his shots byoass armor?

like the new archons, but have to say some of them spawn extremely early. The archangel is probably the worst offender.

having 22 hp units spawn at force level 4 is kinda ridiculous, you may wanna look into changing that

Hello, i play this mod with ABA and ATE and Advent Ascension and i encountered one Archon SATAN together with a Advent Death Aegis in the first retaliation mission on legendary difficulty. Is it normal that they spawn so early in the game???

I've encountered one of each so far, and nothing else. Is that intentional? If so, then maybe they should be buffed a little, and have a reward for beating them. Nothing along the lines of alien king skins, but something cool and thematic nonetheless.

That being said, if you are meant to encounter more than one of these guys, it might be an issue with my mod lineup. I seem to be encountering nothing but ADVENTs, Codices and Sectopods lately, with a few Vipers/Spliced mixed in for taste. Regardless, well done. Archons were meant to look 'divine' and you have made these new ones fit the scheme. I suggest maybe adding in some Greek/Roman gods next, like Ares or Vulcan. Vulcan might have a modified Blazing Pinions that hits like an inferno bomb, while Ares might be hyper-focused on melee and have bonuses in that regard.

I think most mod enemies are a bit too flashy. I am waiting for some that aren't shiny, huge, or god-like. Don't get me wrong, difficult enemies are great but immersion is borken when every enemy is a 'super' version of a basic unit that we never see anymore.

@Landgreen regarding the DLC Contents in the Editor: The DLC source code is appended to DLC_2\Script\DLC_2.u
The DLC packages with models, materials and animations can't be opened with the Editor.

Hey, would it be possible to prepare an Archon type that has the Archon King's Slam ability? That'd be a pretty neat addition.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\CookedPCConsole for the upk files for the king (make sure you copy it out before editing anything!)

and

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\DLC then everything inside the DLC2 folder is the DLC stuff - most of the character bits are preset for config file, which was a nice touch from firaxis, but the actual code files they hid so no one could 'produce' a mod which is their DLC for free, which is rather understandable.

@#_the_dragon that was the intended goal however i could not find any of the new dlc aliens in the sdk, so for now until i find the location , it is a seperate unit.

Heh, quick response from you ;) Sounds good! Most of these should just take small adjustments to existing abilities, then it's just a case of duplicating them,altering and renaming in the templates, etc; so hopefully not too much work. Happy to help advise with it if you like.

Possibly Tonatiuh (Aztec, sun god) has potential with the association with both burning fire, sacrifice and leadership. That'd be lots of flaming colours, obviously, with flaming attacks heightened - presumably 100% proc chance on his melee and perhaps chance of fire on his ranged (though not too strong as they already hurt like the blazes!) - probably slightly lower health or reduced armour and either increased aim or will.

All these ideas are totally yours to pick and choose from (or ignore completely!), I just loved the concept you came up with and would love to see it expanded and brought to full potential!

(continued) Something tribal with colour patterning to match, making it less human in appearance and more spiritual (though retaining the shape), potentially with a psionic power or improved ranged attacks - possibly an improved overwatch ability or abilities that buff overwatch and reduce its movement so it uses them more often. This would keep similar to normal stats bar their movement.

Something Lightning themed - options such as Zeus seems obvious - with worse plasma effects on their ranged attacks - possibly inflicting burning or acid or the like - and heightened damage, with a higher dodge and lower health so they're more of a glass cannon unit. (potentially something bird-related instead of lightning)

I love the concept and approach taken, and some good colour suppliments too. Not sure the statistical differences have quite the same leve of flavour though. Would be nice if they had adapted versions of the archon abilities (or used some others).

I'd suggest that Thoth has either a one-use clone like the codex or that it's health is further reduced, making the most of its speed and dodge to overwhelm people - also gives the historical relevance slightly greater impact with the lunarchy association with lunar cycles and shifting of positions.

For the Arch-Angel, perhaps an improved pinion, or an addition to normal pinion that buffs its allys.

Possible other ideas - Something viking with improved melee and armour, possibly with a disorient or panic on the melee attack, colours: steel and iron primary, wooden matt paints secondary.
