I personally never had issues breaking walls with artillery :v two organ guns/great cannons can break a wall open just as your troops get there... so I'm a little confused on the issue people have :s (then again I do take a lot of artillery focuses, as I think its a game changing asset for battles.)

I think it will still work for the other races but I'll have to update for Norscan walls or they'll have vanilla values.

Kate as a few others have asked could you make an extra version of this mod that just reduces the tower HP by 30%? THe values in this version just changes balance too much in my games. Also, if you could lower the Tower Power by ~30% that would be really great for balance.

Hey, so for osme reason the walls and towers dont have lowered HP for me - is there a mod that this isnt compatable with :s?

I am chewing through the walls way too quickly and my siege equipment ammo supplies are hardly diminished.

Ah ok, thanks for the response man. I wonder why they made them so incredibly resilient? Artillery against walled settlements in general seems sort of half-assed lol. I've seen my mortar shells phase into walls, and have no explosion affect sometimes when hitting people on the walls or in the city (it still does the damage, but makes a puff of dirt effect instead).

Thanks for this mod man, appreciate it. Also forgive the naive question, but you're not the real Kate Micucci right? Not that it matters much, but just curious haha.

The reduction is extreme because the HP values are so high. Vanilla HP vallues are 10,000 for walls and towers. From my testing, even with these reduced values it will take a while for a mortar or hellstorm rocket to kill a wall or tower. You'll want to bring great cannons, steam tanks or a luminark.

I agree that the towers and walls are way too tanky. I had all 3 of my mortars attacking a tower, and my soldiers were able to use ladders and kill the people up there and capture the tower before my mortars could kill it. This was after I waited for about a minute before sending my men to even start capturing the walls.

However I do think that 60 and 80% might be too much in my opinion. Would you be willing to make a lessened version perchance? Such as 30 and 40%? Unless I'm mistaken and through testing they still feel tanky enough to not get decimated by artillery in the first minute?

I don't know where the line for gate HP is. Only the gatehouse seems to be under battlefield_buildings.
