I don't know if this will help, but I am currently useing a mod called Necromancy by Lucifer Lightbringer. It changes a few of the ways the spells work namely changing spell costs, as well as mking invocation of nehek global and happen instantly instead of regenerate overtime. Though, IMO, I prefer your mod for changing the spells. Maybe how he did it might help you, and thanks again for doing this, you're a hero!

i've run into some issues reguarding the new method of spell calculation. As it stands vampire spells are simply far too strong. I need to do more testing before i am happy enough to relise it. also some spells are behaving oddly. Gaze of nagash is being a very special nusiance for me...

Basically ; a lot has changed and i need to learn what is going on.

The last time I tried to play a game with a friend we couldn't get it to work. We had to stop using this mod along with bare bones sieges (unlelated and independently tested of course).

Diablonicus yea, its not really intended to be used when playing as the vampire counts rather to enhance the difficulty against the AI. Undead was way to easy to slauter.

Love the mod and the idea behind it. Just too overpowered in my opinion when playing as Vampire Counts. I just rolled and captured 3 provinces with just my starting army as Von Carsteins.

thanks man i really really love this mod, but sadly ive downloaded a couple of mods and i feeel that its not working anymore, the heal that is, but the 10 zombies are okay

Bigdaddy9393 yea it should be fine.

VERY GOOD I'M SORRY, that was a bug added by the grim and the grave patch, i am yet to fix it. aswell as a bug where necromancer on corpse carts can't use some spells like gaze of nagash.

i'll need to remake the mod to fix it, i've had to do that a few times. i am currently waiting for the game to calm down with large updates.

Bigdaddy, I think it should be. It changes the spells, so it should carry over to the other characters and their skill trees.

This mod makes VCs more true to tabletop.. that lord or necro is basically the thing holding the army together.

However, this mod screws up targeting for wind of death. With this mod installed, wind of death becomes targeted on a unit, instead of the standard vortex targeting. It makes it rather hard to use, since Wind of Death is basically a MOBA skillshot and needs to be aligned properly just before the target.

@Gorlgosh Ha! thats great to hear, there are some more things that i need to change to match some of the new abilitys and subtle diffrences that came with the Grim and the Grave DLC as there are some issues involving the corpse cart as a mount for necromancers and with the new legendary lord necromancer.

@Friendly0ave I'm glad your enjoying the mod, though i should explain the expectation is that you will be playing against the undead AI with this mod active. It IS fun to use this mod as vampire player. It makes for a very rewarding power fantasy.

But the intention is to give the undead AI a leg up

Another thing, templehof also seems to benefit from your mod, so when we had the initial clash in campaign, it turned into overcast nehek spam and 3x speed, and I still waited 5+ minutes for the fight to end lol

Playing with this on campaign. Kemmler and a Necromancer + 4 zombies and 2 zombie spearmen are taking out dwarf warrior + quarreller full stacks. Overcast invocation of nehek is insanely overpowered. Plus. the passive abilities of heroes to replenish hitpoints means often my units just roll over enemies without needing to tap into the Winds of Magic. Did you alter the stats effecting passive hp regen? I don't want my campaign to be too easy. but I do agree with the mentality behind your mod and would like to use it.
