Hi
I have all races from DLC, except Norsca. What files do you need? I have the following files in the folder ...TWW/data/ :
terrain.pack
terrain_bm.pack
terrain2.pack
terrain2_bm.pack
terrain3.pack
terrain4.pack
terrain5.pack
terrain6.pack
terrain7.pack
models.pack
models_bm.pack
shaders.pack
variants.pack
variants_bl.pack
variants_dds.pack

As well as: data.pack, data_bl.pack, data_bm.pack, data_ch.pack, data_m.pack, data_we.pack, data_we_m.pack, movies.pack, local_.....pack’s…, boot.pack

This was never updated for beastmen, so I'm unsure how it would have ever had functionality with them in the first place, or why it would no longer be working for some of them.

The reason for this mod not being updates is quite simple; I have not purchased the additional DLC, and unfortunately I don't have plans to do so.

In order for this mod to be udpated by me, I would have to have access to the DLC files, which could happen in a few ways.
1. Someone gifting me the DLC, which I would then install and create an update for
2. Someone sending me the relevant DLC files, which I could then examine and created an altered version of

Another option would be for someone else to examine the mod and understand what it was I did, and then perform the same thing on the DLC files in order to make their own updated version of this.

I believe that the issue is simply that the data table has not been updated to account for changes made due to the addition of dlc content. As I do not own the dlc, this is not an easy thing for me to address.

There are some glitches with the units like how Arachnarok Spider unit will spawn with two instead of one making 1v1 pretty pointless but on the whole good mod.

Doesn't work. I go to custom battles and it still tells me that I need to pick a lord.

Ps: one thing that would be great is if the mod also eliminated all morale penalties if the lord dies or is present as, given that the lord is essentially in the unit, if said model dies then the unit takes a penalty and perturbs the normal results of the test.

Can this great mod be updated please? Among the problems is that for some the beastmen don't work [even if I have all the dlc's including the most recent one].

Well, i don't know. Obviously the unit has never been a general before so i can't say the mod is the cause. Maybe it's just a side effect of how the devs made the unit. How they made sure only one model of spider was in the unit. Maybe they still have the old program hidden somewhere that still adds a general character to the unit that for some reason adds another spider. I mean, i'm not about to go counting all of the zombies to make sure they have the exact right number :P

Anyway, i'm just telling you what i've found. It may have nothing to do with your mod - but it might do, which is why i wanted you to at least be aware of it. Apart from that, thanks so much for doing this. It's pretty much the first mod i was looking for. :steamhappy:

yea dint work mabe its a diffrent mod i got dont go along with it idk but ill try to play with it more see what i can do anyways awesome mod keep doing good job

@whatupdawg6969 My advice is to unsubscribe from this and then verify that all of the files are removed from your machine, by looking in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Total War WARHAMMER\data to make sure that the .pack and .png files for this mod are gone (delete them yourself if necessary). Once you do that, resubscribe, make sure that the files have been re-acquired from steam, and I believe the current version will be working for you. If not, please let me know.

Working fine here, with the aforesaid glitch. A couple of things I noticed at a first glance:
- At Ultra Size (not below) and only when chosen as generals, Arachnaroks will appear in double the numbers and triple the hp shown in the selection.
- Other single-model units are fine (e.g.: Varghulf). Probably because the Arachny is like a chariot with people on board and for some reason it messes up with the scaling (usually defined in main_units I think).
- Surprisingly (and quite disappointingly), undead do not go in insta-crumble when their general is not a wizard or even a character.

So, yeah, pretty deep behaviour for a simple tick option.

@fatherofwar That's a fairly interesting implication of this mod. What I have done is simply flag every unit as "True" in the Lord category in the custom battle permissions pack.

OK found one. For some reasons either because it's become a general or by some other means the 'Aracknarok spider' unit is a pair. There's two but it still only counts 1 on the health bar. They are both sperate and attack and deal damage independantly.

I've just subscribed to the mod, ran the game and have no issues right now. Started up first time no problem. Try resubscribing maybe? I don't have many mods so it may be clashing for you guys.

I've been messing around with the mod for the last two hours trying to understand why it works for me locally but crashes others to desktop when they download through steam workshop. At this point I'm thinking my best recourse will be to try to get into contact with a more experienced modder and asking for a second opinion. I will still continue to try resolving this asap but that will unfortunately not be tonight.

yeah just tried it. it crashes at startup doesent even get to the AMD logo.

Predator246, is this mod working for you? Etup just tried using it on stream and it crashed him to desktop, I am currently working on fixing that. It is working fine for me locally, though.

thanks for this i like running 1v1 tests in custom and was annoyed that i had to take a lord.
