Necro-reporting from Oldrim: Compatible with A Home in Every Village. Also with More Shops and Merchants, which adds a smith to the right side of the College gate. Also with smaller mods like A Shrine for Julianos, which adds a table to the left side of the gate, and A Sign for Birna's Oddments.

Are there any Winterhold mods this works well with?

Great mod, thanks. Not compatible with the Touring Carriages mod, the horse can't detect the wall opening, but that mod is well known to be as buggy as hell. ;)

ive never understood why winterhold is such a small town. didnt it use to be the capital of skyrim or something. not to mention the massive college with a capacity of 4 students.

but I dont understand why the collision is broken, it has to be a bug from the game, I took those walls from the "Static" section in the CK so they have a colision built in

thanks for the pointing out!

Hey so great mod, I have always felt that the once great Winterhold looked really underwhelming due to a lack of basic defenses. This mod fixes that and gives the feel that it was at one point in time as important a town as the locals say it was.

Just a few minor things that I figured I should point out to the author.
On the south wall the south side (not facing the town) has a small section of wall that doesn't come all the way down to the ground.
On the south wall facing north (facing the town) the portion of wall next to the tower can be walked through partially. And the tower is not enterable (not that I mind) as well as just generally the collision with the outcroppings of wal segment are non existant.

Love the mod, I just wanted to point out some things in case you were unaware =D

it needs more studry defensive feel.

Nah, my Game appeares to be Bugged :)
Either way, great job.
Internethetzer  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 12:41pm
I hope its because Skyrim is buggy, and not the navmesh again or I'll have a seizure

Great Mod, love the design. :steamhappy:
The mages statue on top of both walls look great, a symbol of the (former) glory Winterhold held in correlation with the college.
Since I love walking into walls like ♥ I found out that one side of the larger wall (side facing town) is seethrough when walked into, also the ends of the same wall can be walked through a bit.

it would be great to have a mod to restore winterhold to its former glory after all you do in all likelyhood become archmage eventually

i love this mod but can i ask you to do a mod that i know is a very hard thing to do i have played skyrim nerly 800 hours and thinking for one thing that skyrim needs and what many other people thinks the same, i think. anyway can you do a Realistik hevy material sinking in water? for example a hevy armored bandit do not flouat on the wather they, sink in real life and a skeleton sinks too and well..all real life sinkeble things nearly all of them,do not sink in the water so can you see if you can make this come true if you do that then i think you are one of the best skyrim moders in the hole world:steamhappy::steamhappy:

Now that I think about it... it seems a bit off that you used the whole mage statue. Its fantastic for the Civil War Scenario, but the city is still resentful to the college, so... I dunno, like Talos Statues or maybe some of the stuff from nordic ruins, since the city of Winterhold is in decay, they would probably have not enough people to get enough resources to keep up the walls, but still have it be fortified. Just saying, I love this, but I also like to think friendly to the lore of the game. I look forward for what you produce next friend.

Thanks, if youre referring to 3D designing then no, i just took many vanilla parts from different walls/cities and mixed them together so that the wall looks like a completely new one
swei_la98 17 Jun, 2016 @ 10:43pm
This is awesome. Did you design those walls yourself or are they vanilla assets? Great work btw.

i want a mod that restores winterhold before the great collapse so we can see Winterhold in its full glory
Internethetzer  [author] 14 Jun, 2016 @ 2:58am
@Kjell Andre just doing my part for the community
@Tailin Sero im thinking about adding more leftovers from the collapse
@Fart Knocker of Norway im tending to the whiterun entrance (its as useless as traffic lights in gta) but well see
Guy 13 Jun, 2016 @ 3:54pm
awww its so cute and broken little wall!

Nice work there Siefe, I am guessing that after Winterhold, you'll do Morthal? Great work as always, I look forward to what you bring for the city of Winterhold. ;)
Tailin Sero 10 Jun, 2016 @ 6:18pm
this is nice. i always thought it weird that winterhold didn't have a wall. Sure there was the great collapse, but the path to the college wouldn't just lead to the outskirts of the city like that. i have a nexus mod that completely overhauls winterhold (among other cities), so I hope it works with this.
Viking At Heart 10 Jun, 2016 @ 8:32am
so cool thanks sir
