I'll take the darker tone feedback into consideration. Torch effects aren't possible without changing individual graphics of units/buildings and they wouldn't be in sync with the day/night clock.
Aaaand also - maybe some community presents ? I just want to make the night more blue/pureple-ish :) thanks a lot :)
Did you download from ModDB (step 4 link in YouTube video description)? There should be more files like listed in step 7.
With the wrapper version of the ENB, you just copy the files into your AoE2HD folder and launch the game and it will work automatically.
With the injector version, you will have to run the Injector application every time before you start to play AoE2HD, and let it run in the background.
I want to make a darker variant in a the next version since many people have requested this, so possibly similar to Age of Darkness.
The other ENB mods that I made in the past installed properly through Steam's subscribe system, but ever since patch 4.0+, ENB mods as well as data mods do not auto-install properly.
@grifdefeu & HorusFlesh- Did you try downloading the mod from the ModDb link in the YouTube videos?
@REN MAJESTIC:
Nice screenshots! Yeah, the colors changing is difficult, without impacting the player colors. I'm thinking if I can figure out what color range to block out for the colors it'd be great. Then I can darken everything else, or even brighten some colors (for lighting effects). I'll try to see what I can do.

I see that re main problem is the blue and purple color. they are too similar but i see that main color filter can fix that. If u consider my proposition, i could help u anyway. Thanks for my consideration ^^

I never imagined the player color problem. That's right, this is a huge problem. You're Right! 11
and the others are nice
@REN MAJESTIC: Hmm, what do you think of my Age of Darkness mod? Is that a more realistic night in your opinion?

I have tried not too touch too much of the coloring so far because of the civilization's colors (i.e. blue) would also change.
How fast is the time lapse for you right now? As in one day (completely from day to night back to day). It was set to roughly 24 mins in my tests, about 8 minutes between day and night.
I do understand you and appreciate your suggestions!
In night, can u modify the color filters? so night can be more blue and real? day and dawn/dusk are very good and i have no comments, but night is quite unreal ( u.u )
The time lapse between day night can be more slowly, as 8-10 minute between day-night? i think this because u can apreciate more confortable in a campaing game or a RM, and is more tolerable the changes of saturation.
As a consideration, because is a really amazing good mod and i think it can be greater than now.
Srry for my bad spelling english, i hope that u can understand me.
