I have no clue how to convert civ4 models or even how to make Civ5 models.
Do you have to have some tutorials you could point me to?
Most of what I've looked up involved programs that wouldn't run on my PC.

I downloaded this nation and the others but when I enable them in mods and play single player the nations don't show as civs,I also am playing with the avatar world map,which worksbut there are no custom civs. Why is this happening?

Yes it does but with different combat strengths. I couldn't get a new model for the airship due to my computer not being able to run program's required to make model's for the game.

A bit late, and might be a necro, but does this mod necessarily re-add the units from the ESS scenario? I was playing with them and I noticed the Airship and Land Ironclad units are accessible, removing the mod removed the ESS units too.

I believe that I had resolved my issue. No need anymore for you to check on it. I forgot to allow the database to run the xml files, and it was the main reason for my problem. I appreciate your thought, however, that was fully appreciated.

Would you mind if I were to utilize exerpts of your code to build up a modification to these mods? I have by no means any modding experience, and would find it beneficial to use yours as a reference point.

Just one problem my omashu and default korea (northern earth) were teamed so it was hell. I also forgot to put air nomads at war with everyone (pre earth kingdom nomads are notorious warmongers). I should of locked many more nations in perma war. (Ironically th e only nations destroyed were my other fire nation rivals; Japan, Indonesia, Vikings and Mayans. After I killed off all of these I was at war with the entire world.

Doing a play through as the fire nation on a huge map 22 civs. Which takes place hundreds of years before main series.
Includes default civs, mostly Asian, water based. North and south water. Omashu, earth (pre kingdom) air (also with Siam being south air) Byzantium occupies the serpents pass

Aye tis compatable. Try using them without any other mods then add any overhaul mods you have after testing mine seperately.

I underestimated the uas, tbh they are all fine save for air ( really needs 4 cities all over map), anyways i was have been through some wars on diety, when timed right, if one is prepared you can have 12:1 naval casaulty rates with best promoted units.

deity domination, just capped a water city, and me and nomads should attack earth. considering i set tech to end in industrial and am using many expanded eras mods i realized two things. fire ships are too slow, +1 or 2 move. and resource spam with iron and steel is nice

now everyone has denounced me despite the fact everyone else were my allies. I also declared war on the south water tribe and took one island of my own area I forgot to claim as well as the former Indonesian capital

Playing as this nation on a huge map, based on said cannon. Of course on diety everyone has larger armies than me, some have higher tech, and only the earth kingdom has more cities (they started with like 8), I started with 2, nomads got 4, eater tribes got 4, and a bnw Indonesia was given like 4. Anyways we wiped out Indonesia cause despite only having 4 cities he was a warmonger

This is actually really awesome. It would be great if you could add in the benders to this and the other civ mods, but instead of making it an overhaul, make it an upgradable unit tree that replaces the spearmen/pikemen/lancer tree. They could specialize against against infantry and possibly cavalry, and you could give each of the tribes' benders a unique promotion. It would super flavorful.

Should add benders for each civ. Honestly, it should become an overhaul that changes almost all units to match their stuff.
