Theres a lot of info there and thats not supposed to represent my distaste im just hoping that my information can help with any future fixes. I love everything else about the MOD. the atlantis shield, the rivalry with ARC, the flavour texts and the SG unit is absolutly brilliant.
I reckon, if you can fix the soldier/SG team issue then thats perfect. even better if you're able to put in a reference to the old X-302 gliders for the tacjets :D The only thing then which would complete this is if the portals used for the supremacy and Purity victories looked like a stargate :D
What it means is that you can't build simple foot soldier melee units in other cities (as you need stargate recruitment centre to build SG teams and you can't build another one of them) And quests and policies that reference soldier units don't function as well.
For example, after the first quest (build an outpost) for which the reward is a soldier unit, you end up with an unupgradeable unit, and it stays at 10 strength. even when you level up an affinity it does not allow you to level up the random soldier unit.
In addition the quest below stated by krankher can't be completed either sadly as you can't build soldiers anywhere.
