This mod is broken. The game won't even start with this mod active. I had to unsubscribe just to get the game working again.

Codex is stand alone and not a mod but a super conversion mod. Highly not reccomended to combine mods unless they say codex compatible or u know what u geting into. I would not done that what u said NuclearNIX but thank u anyway for testing that.:Diplomat:

It seems that this is incompatible with codex since as soon as the game started to load i crashed.

I have noticed that this mod makes certain quests and unit functions inoperable; cannot establish trade routes & the quest asking you to build soldier unit cannot be completed. Aside from those issues, I quite like the mod, thanx.

For the RT update, i originally planned to have the SG Team replace the soldier, but then I made it its own UnitClass entirely and left in the code to remove the soldier by mistake.

The only other issue i found was a conflict with the Social engineering mod and the "police state" option, it doesn't give you 4 marine units when you select that particular policy as it seems the SGC cannot use the soldier basic unit at all, so it can't upgrade them to marines and consequently can't recieve them from the social policy.

Theres a lot of info there and thats not supposed to represent my distaste im just hoping that my information can help with any future fixes. I love everything else about the MOD. the atlantis shield, the rivalry with ARC, the flavour texts and the SG unit is absolutly brilliant.

I reckon, if you can fix the soldier/SG team issue then thats perfect. even better if you're able to put in a reference to the old X-302 gliders for the tacjets :D The only thing then which would complete this is if the portals used for the supremacy and Purity victories looked like a stargate :D

Yeah, this is the only big issue at the moment, the soldier team gets replaced, but the rest of the game doesn't recognise the SG unit as the replacement properly, consequently it seems to think it is a different unit.

What it means is that you can't build simple foot soldier melee units in other cities (as you need stargate recruitment centre to build SG teams and you can't build another one of them) And quests and policies that reference soldier units don't function as well.

For example, after the first quest (build an outpost) for which the reward is a soldier unit, you end up with an unupgradeable unit, and it stays at 10 strength. even when you level up an affinity it does not allow you to level up the random soldier unit.

In addition the quest below stated by krankher can't be completed either sadly as you can't build soldiers anywhere.

Great mod. The only problem I was having was that the SG unit seems to replace the Soldier unit. Unable to complete the Beating Heart Society quest to build 3 Soldier units. Soldier units never showed up on the build list. Had explorers and SG units showing though. Wasn't sure that was what you intended. Otherwise I really liked it.
