@xalauch I don't know if its intentional or not but for the Assassins, the temple building is replaced by the cultist special building Summoning Circle

Hey, I have a few of your mods installed, and I'm having a bit of a problem. The game works fine up until i start the game, it consistantly freezes during the first turn whenever I have these mods loaded. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Thank you for fixing the assassins with v4, it seems however now though they only have a striking distance of one tile which makes them rather useless other than for city defense.

@pandaling Mostly from pinterest and google images, sometimes deviantart, I just edited them with photoshop. I know I know, I should credit the people who made them, but I just save everything I see fitting and then choose.

@Aweryth What exactly? Is it the Executioners? The Assassins?

Idk but it seems like venice with some bonus powers, I believe u should nerf it a bit so venice do not become useless. About the settlers on the liberty branch, when venice goes liberty instead of a settler it receives a great merchant instead of a settler, u could swap the settler with a Executioner. Nice civ though, hope i helped.

Also, .chalux, if its ok im making some scenarios with your mods and uploading them to Steam. The first one is already out. If you want to see it, it is Overthrow the Empire. Also, I have a suggestion for a civ: Wanderers. Basically, you can only have one city, but you can make settlers. If you found a city with one, all of your citizens move to the new city, it becomes your capital, and you automaticaly sell all buildings in your old city and it is destroyed. You can also use a settler in a city state to move into that city state. You can also move into another civ's city, but it degrades your relations with them, and you can't do it to a capital. Also all of your gold is doubled. The unique unit would replace a Great Merchant and it would be a Wandering Merchant. Wandering Merchants have more movement, grant more gold and influence, and can be used in another civ's city. If used in another civ's city, you gain more gold, but the gain Jewelry for 25 turns.

Oh great .chalaux, so many have abandoned the realm of civ 5, and those who persist in the goal of creating actually mod civs are few and far between. So i beseech you, please gift us with the first and last "needed" cthulu mythos civ. The elder ones have slumbered for too long, will you awaken powers beyond mortal comprehension, can you build a mod that will stand the test of time?

@Brybry Venice doesn't replace merchants with settlers, settlers simply can't be built in Venice and as a unique unit they get the Merchant of Venice replacing the Great Merchant; the same way the Executioner replaces the Great Merchant, and in this case the Great General as well.

I don't know if this is viable, because I've never tinkered with the modding tools. But I'm pretty sure that Venice has a replacement effect so they get Merchants instead of Settlers. You could look into how that replacement effect is coded and try to implement something like that for this Nation

@Vyper Yeah I fixed that already, you should update to v2, now Assassins replace the Swordsman, but still unlock upon researching Guilds. Longswordsman can be built now aswell.

found a bug... assassins disappear if you upgrade them from swordsman. didn't try upgrading them in the city which could be a bypass the bug since the assassins are technically airplanes.

Found a bug with the Assassins, they seem to be able to obtain settlers through Liberty.
