i think i managed to break tier 2 carbines somehow? i have both this and the magnetic carbines mod but neither of the tier 2 carbines appear when i research tier 2 weapons

It'll be a bit of awhile before I get back to weapon mods, so try out WotC in the meantime. The expansion is well worth the money :)

@Spart117MC the only reason I don’t own WotC is because I think your Carbine Mods are better than anything the Devs have implemented. Please make this compatible with WotC. Keep up the outstanding work.

@Wilding Bread: I can confirm that this mod still crashes WotC even with the WotC Unofficial Port of the LW SMG Pack. Typical CTD on startup.

Hello. Your weapons are simply "fantastic", congratulations to the work done so far and I hope - hopefully and hopefully - that your mod can be used in conjunction with the new "War of the Chosen" expansion and if that is not possible .. That you update the mod making this possible, because even though I am anxiously awaiting the new expansion ... it will be difficult to play without your weapons after we have become accustomed to them. Congratulations and very ("very") thank you!

It would be possible for you to gather all the weapons in one file ("Sawed-off Shotgun - Standalone, Combat Shotgun - Standalone, Salvaged Cannon - Standalone, Multipurpose Combat Rifles - Standalone, Carbines - Standalone, Magnetic Carbines - Dependent"). Make it easier to use these weapons? Thank you!

Just a curiosity, as I have no idea (but will be looking into it), could you not replicate the Grenade Launchers holding animation to make it seem like the forward grip is held?

I'm actually going to look into this for myself, seeing as how the M4A1 SOPMOD has them - but I prefer the sleek, sexy designs provided here. I try to keep things as vanilla as possible. I will update you with any progress I make!

Anyone figure out how to get these working with LW2 and XSkin? I can use these on the first weapon tier as selectable skins, but once I upgrade to laser I can't anymore. I'm sure it's a simple tweak but I can't find it.

You should just be able to give it however many slots you want in the .ini.

Any plans for a LW2 upgrade/patch? LW2 gives all weapons 3 upgrade slots by default, making the Carbines inferior as they only have 1.

I have an issues with this- it replaces the default Assault Rifle mesh with the Assault Carbine for some reason. I can't figure out how to fix this.

I can't seem to get beyond 3 upgrade slots on tier 3 weapons. I have the Advanced Modular Weapons mod and changed the tier 3 slot number to 3 but still only have 3 slots. Are the two mods not compatible?

Awesome mod! But I have problem. After researching Weapons Upgrade I and Gauss Weapons there is no schematics for upgrade in engineeering section. THere are options to upgrade every other weapon in my inventory (I have Advent and Halo Reach mods), but these carbines are missing. Any help is highly appreciated. maybe there is some compatibility issue with game version after this new patch?

Any chance, or would you know how, to import custom weapon sounds. Id like to use the Machine Gun variant, but it bothers me it sounds the same as the assault rifle

This looks pretty interesting, trying it out with my next playthrough. However is there a way to disable the Grimey feature with finding grenade/ammo scans ? Also is it possible to have the Compact Carbine variant replace the default SMG ?

Changes to the damage seem to work fine, but changes to mobility and aim aren't sticking.

Its been a while since I looked at this myself but it should be the code near the end of the file above the detection modifiers I think.

I put it in because it gave the weapons a distinct look. I might get around to making a version where soldiers hold onto the grip when firing but I don't think it would look that great (they'd be bracing their hands against it not holding onto it).

Love the models - fits the aesthetic of the game very well, and the Auto-Shotgun, omg, it shooting is the Sex!

Only minor complaint is that i wish that the 'Forward Assist Grip' was either used or not there... it just seems kinda weird to have that grip there if the soldier never uses it.
