I have been waiting for Molay and Radiuos to update their mods. Since Molay still didn't update, I'm not sure what to do.

With the latest warhammer update the game won't launch with this mod enabled, I disable it and all is well.

Any thoughts?

do you need this and the original molays mod to work or just this and radious?

My mod overwrites values in data_core tables the Radious mod is using, but only for these values that are conficting in Molay and Radious. So if you would load comp mod without Molay's, your magic may be Molay's but skills would stay vanilla.

So I loaded the game without this one or Molay's mod and the magic is the same.. I'm not sure what the compatibility mod was doing, but Molay's values only came in with the compatibility mod was doing. So I have no idea what's going on now lol

@Ahriman what's the pack file manager you're talking about? I saw how to set it read only, but I don't know where to go to change it to movie. Have you found that it still works as intended that way?

I huess we do. Main menu. If this worked for the first time, perhaps deleting and resuscribing to all mods (starting with base ones) will help? Also did a small update right now to force redownload.

When you say "running the game" do you mean actually starting a game or just getting to the main menu and exiting? Really dumb question, I know, but I've tried that about 5 times now and keep getting the CtD. Wondering if you're doing anything different.

Running game without this submod and then subscribing back to it solved CTD for me. I will check if any updates are required but it seems to work so far.

And I finally got it to work as well! Huzzah! What I did was subscribe to radious and units, then molay. Before subbing to this launching the game with those activated, exiting, then subbing to this and finally it would launch without crashing.

Open mod in pack file manager and change type to 'movie' than go to mod folder and in properties tick 'read only'. Stopped crashing game at start for me after i did it.

So in short, try unsubscribing from this mod then resubscribing. Don't know if that'll fix everyone's ctd issue, but it fixed mine.

I had a CTD too and fixed it. I subbed to both Radious and Molay's mod, and then this one. But the game wasn't recognizing Molay's because I had subbed to this one before. So I unsubbed to this one (deleting it from my load order) then resubbed to it and it's good to go.

Giving me a crash on startup as well, no mods enabled except for Molay's, yours and the Radious stuff. =(

I changed a few tables that the game should now load to main menu even without Molay's Spells & Artifacts (but the submod won't work properly). Other than that - I frankly have no idea. I deleted all mods and DLC from the disks and redownloaded them, changed locale back and forth, changed drivers and still no crash.

Yeah I got just the radious mods (Radious + units) and the full version of the Molay mod (Spells & artifacts) but when I use this mod with them it crashes on startup :> I don't know what's the cause but it would be great if found out, because this mod would be a must-have for me

Are you sure that you have Molay's Spells & Artifacts orginal mod installed (not some other version)? Running the game without it was the only way I managed to crash it on startup.

Did you also attempted to run it only with (and no other mods ticked):
Molay's Spells & Artifacts
Radious Total War Mod
Radious Total War Units Mod
Molay & Radious Compatibility

Please double check that and I will look further into this. Also, just to be sure, this mod works for someone, not just me, right ;) ?

just tried to start this up tonight and it crashes my game out before I even get to the main menu. Which is too bad as I would really like to combine the Radious units/combat changes with Molays Spells. Almost a perfect combo.

I integrated confilcting tables from both mods (using values from Molay's for resolving conflicts and keeping things only modified by single mod unchanged). Modified data_core tables in this submod seem to override original Radious mod tables.

Artifacts and skills do work, because Radious didn't mod it. But spells effects you have are from Radious.

Didn't try that personally but since last update there were problems with mods that used that way.

Supposedly radious overwrites a bunch of things from Molay, so yeah this would be needed. It's very welcome

Doesn't Molay already work with Radious? Because I already use the two together. What kind of compatibility is actually needed?

And wouldn't just loading molay's mod first work fine? By changing the name to something like "a-molay's..."
