The model of cube is bugged. It is empty on edges.

When adding this mod, my refinerys only produce gravel, and nothing else.
andigogo 16. okt. 2020 kl. 2:59
i am wondering what the density of this concrete mod is... and serious (i am bricklayer...) to make concrete you need water, no way around... means at least: use ice... the mix for concrete will be: : 1000 stone, 1000 gravel, 500 cement, 500 ice and this will give a result of 2500 concrete. 1 block is 1000 liter, means 2500 kg....

and i agree that all of the concrete have to be build in the Survivalkit already. Cement is just gravel heated up to 1500 degress celcius about. If a Survivalkit can smelt stone to gravel and ingots, it can heat up the gravel to. I was modifing AWGs concrete shapes mod to more realistic concrete. so am i not sure what shall think about this mod here, how realistic it is at the end... i build my stuff in concrete just with the survivalkit....

@Sicario I edited the mod just for that reason - use this one if you want to process ore in the refinery and just want the recipes for the blocks added https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2222872048
SICARIO 23. aug. 2020 kl. 10:38
nice mod but only getting gravel from stone. I already have more gravel than I can use in a life time. and didn't notice for a while it was only producing more and more gravel, I'm going with the other concrete mode where it doesn't only make gravel. but regardless thanks for the work put in.
Geasing Git 8. juni 2020 kl. 22:19
Concrete is cool and everything but i cant make anything other gravel. and when I try to uninstall the mod, my world save is completely fucked meaning that I cant play on the world anymore.

Hello Gornyakmaniac.
Really, your mod is nice but (eh... yes) like some others here, there is some things I don't understand...
#1 The reason why refinery only transform stone into gravel and no more iron, silicon and nickel (all this big machine for only make gravel ?)
#2 all the process to making a concrete block. Because of that, the mod is totally inaccessible early in the game, that's mean that we must build a base with all the equipment to be able to make concrete block..... uhhh.... our base is just finished to build.

So, can you please make again the refinery do its job and make your mod usable in survival mode. Pleeaaaaaase :)
Apothicon 22. dec. 2019 kl. 14:53
would be nice if you could make refineries still give stuff other then gravel
UltraEmailMan 4. dec. 2019 kl. 3:38
For anyone looking for a replacement:

Unfortunately the concrete item can't go through small conveyors though.

Update, my gravel needs a usage... :D Please remove all steps other than gravel...
{pDs} Frostbite 28. juli 2019 kl. 0:51
Any fix for the gravel thing?..i would like my stone to still give some metals like normal not just gravel -.-
Schorsch 2. juli 2019 kl. 20:16
please remove the gravel blueprint! my boring towers are useless now and my cargo is overflowing with gravel.

maybe you could make a "stonecrusher" refinery with that blueprint additionaly to the vanilla refineries so that you can make both gravel AND iron/nickel/silicon ingots.
lima-november 19. maj 2019 kl. 11:02
Hey Man, really like the mod.

How about different tier's of concrete. Refining the amount of stone needed to build a block in the early game, takes way to long, and requires way to much handmining stone, you might as well just throw it in the survival block.

So how about making cheaper concrete for early game that uses less sand/cement, with durability of a light block, that weigh as a heavy block, doesn't use iron and nickel only silicon, to make silicon less useless.

A block of normal reinforced concrete, that uses iron and the current sand & cement. Maybe the durability of a heavy block but weighs x3 as much.

And maybe make a heavy duty late game block, that uses a lot of silicon/glass fibers for added strength. With the durability of 2 heavy blocks, but weighs x5.

A cube 2,5x2,5x2,5 reinforced concrete should weigh like 37,5 tons, so building spaceships of it should not be viable.

Actually I can remove stone blueprint from here, 5 mins of work, but I don't have SE on my laptop now
Gary 18. maj 2019 kl. 9:04
Me too, not unique problem. I ignore it for a while.
Monster 18. maj 2019 kl. 2:01
Atm, at least for me, the concrete block are missing "corners"; it's like the side textures shrank, which makes it possible to see through the blocks, when looking from one edge to another.
Gary 11. maj 2019 kl. 8:29
gornyakmaniac, can you create a mod variant, where the stone to gravel blueprint definition is removed? So it won't conflict with the new vanilla stone -->grav+iron+nickel+silicone definition.
Thank you in advance.
Скапелли 11. apr. 2019 kl. 10:30
Огромный минус, что камень выробатывает только грунт, в этом моде. Так что в топку
BeafSalad 16. mar. 2019 kl. 17:37
The reason being is that the mod has a blueprint definition for StoneOreToIngot that just creates ingot stone whereas the base game now has this definition that creates ingot stone, ingot iron, ingot nickel and ingot silicon.
Takamiki 12. mar. 2019 kl. 2:20
currently having this mod make it so that both the normal refinery and basic refinery will not turn stone into: gravel, iron ingots, nickle ingots, and silicone wafers. instead this mod causes the stone to only turn into just gravel like was normal pre-survival update. the only way to get stone to turn into more useful ingots is by using the survival kit which requires you to manually queue up the stone to be refined at less efficiency then both of the refineries.
dscutt 10. mar. 2019 kl. 7:43
Is this compatible with 1.189? I see a comment below saying the new changes for stone conflicts with the mod.
Joshuawood 10. mar. 2019 kl. 5:59
Fair, Maybe i will learn how to mod this game as well now ...
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 8. mar. 2019 kl. 6:03
Well you can make your own concrete then if you want something like foam concrete
Joshuawood 6. mar. 2019 kl. 16:31
Hey! Great mod but i was wondering if it would be possible to make a light concrete blocks, or in a different mod, whereby it would be 4x the weight of light armour and the same resistances type as light of thing. To make it viable for large roads, tracks, pads and the like. I'm not sure but at the moment it seems making light armour is easier but i'm not 100% sure? certainly lighter (important for realistic inventory) and light armour is good for most applications i would like to use this for :'(
Peter Cashel 3. mar. 2019 kl. 21:40
Hi! It seems with the latest update to Space Engineers, the blueprint definition 'StoneOreToIngot' is conflicting with the new survival stone to ingot recipe. Would it be possible to have it updated/changed to not conflict?
Yeti-TK421 7. feb. 2019 kl. 20:50
This mod appears to have some textual issues. The corners aren't generating.
Mike Loeven 23. sep. 2018 kl. 22:23
I have argued that silicon ore should actually be removed from the game entirely and silicon should be produced from further refining gravel
Mike Loeven 23. sep. 2018 kl. 22:19
Can you consider removing silicon from the recipe?? from a chemistry standpoint this makes little to no sense as gravel ground down fine enough is essentially sand and any silicates required are already present in the rocks and gravel used to produce it. the "silicon" item in game is actually a pure silicon boule for making electronics and glass but serves no purpose in the production of sand or cement
PositivlyJoe 24. aug. 2018 kl. 2:18
concrete edges are see trough and the ribbed concrete block are the same as normal concrete
PositivlyJoe 24. aug. 2018 kl. 2:14
cool mod only problem is that the edges are see through and the ribbed concrete looks exactly the same
TimePhazer 28. juli 2018 kl. 4:12
Can i have it with a German name :P? I like the way Beton sounds
Also it looks cool sort of fancy pavement or sky scraper concrete But id also like a more rough grainy like concrete that would fit in a industrial scene area
Tanya Sapien 5. feb. 2018 kl. 5:50
just letting you know your block texture wrapping borked in the new update. corners are see-through and the ribbed blocks render as normal solid blocks
Exelsiar 25. jan. 2018 kl. 11:38
Correction due to TIM being fussy as all hell :p
/SandGrandulat,20,1%,,clsSandGranulat
/Zement,20,1%,,clsZement

Ooo never knew that, took a bit to find but got it Thanks.
For anyone else interested in the same info:

gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 25. jan. 2018 kl. 6:02
@Exelsiar you can open mod file with any archiver and look by your own eyes
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 25. jan. 2018 kl. 5:59
That is the thing why there are "attention" in the description marked with blue. Mod sources are lost, so I can't fix it until I'll learn how to work in Blender.
jb_aero 25. jan. 2018 kl. 5:17
Sorry to be a pain, and for taking so long to get back, but after the last update the blocks stay visible, but they are doing this again https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1280594405
Exelsiar 24. jan. 2018 kl. 1:13
Hi, I'm using the TIM inventory script, what are the code names for the new componenets? Thanks.
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 19. dec. 2017 kl. 1:04
@jb_aero Seems like i fixed it.
jb_aero 18. dec. 2017 kl. 23:19
I'm only using the standard (unribbed) cube, so I can't speak for the others.
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 18. dec. 2017 kl. 23:12
@jb_aero Which blocks of this mod?
jb_aero 18. dec. 2017 kl. 22:53
I don't suppose you could add the most basic of lods? at a few hundred meters they just vanish from view
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 18. dec. 2017 kl. 21:12
Update.
Volume of Zement component reduced from 14.5 to 12.5 liters.
Volume of Granulated Sand component reduced from 12 to 9 liters.
And I included a bit rebalanced blueprint of gravel refining in mod, because many people said that it's hard for them to mine so large amounts of stone to build this blocks, and because I can't reduce amount of gravel for components production - it will be unrealistic if you'll need 40kg of gravel to produce 50kg bag of cement. So for now you'll get 1kg of gravel from 1kg of stone in 0.05 sec instead of getting 0.9kg of gravel from 1kg of stone in 0.1 sec.
Darkaiser 16. dec. 2017 kl. 7:06
If you don't mind, I'd like to try the volume of components at half. I love this mod since it and the Cement Gun give me SOMETHING to do with Stone other than making the biggest gravel pit in the solar system lol. I know I'm likely the only guy who still welds anything by hand but for just starting out, it's what I got.

Thanks for listening.
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 16. dec. 2017 kl. 1:00
Well, I can decrease volume of components for a half to make it more easy to weld concrete blocks on foot.
It has a bit less durability then heavy armor with the difference that for heavy armor you need a large amount of long-processed ore, and these blocks are made of stone.
Darkaiser 16. dec. 2017 kl. 0:33
What is the durability of one concrete block versus a standard light armor block. I can carry enough steel plate in one trip to make 40 light steel blocks. If I can only carry enough materials to weld up two concrete blocks then they should be 20x as strong and I don't think they are.
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 15. dec. 2017 kl. 10:10
I can decrease amount of components or decrease amount of resources to produce them, but summary weight of all compontnts of blocks should stay the same because of balance, as long as block's mass is determined by the mass of all its components.
Darkaiser 15. dec. 2017 kl. 8:24
As much as I love the Mod, I think you made the components a bit too heavy. I can carry enough for two full-sized blocks plus a little bit at x10 which seems a bit heavy to me. The amount of ingredients seems right, they simply weigh too much IMHO.
rjwaters 7. dec. 2017 kl. 6:07
i can verify that such a thing is caused by "target neutrals" and happens even with vanilla light armor blocks
gornyakmaniac  [ophavsmand] 6. dec. 2017 kl. 21:55
Looks like a game bug. I'll check it, but likely it's a game issue, not mod's.
