Thanks Blackout, it worked perfectly. Didn't know you can that easilly disable parts from mods, that you don't like, this is going to make things so much clear now, thanks again, for you, and Spart for this great mod.
C:\Program Files\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\XCOM 2\XComGame\DLC\DLC_1\Config\
From here you should have 3 config files (ending in .ini). Open up XComContent.ini in any text editor (notepad will do).
In here you will find all the config that 'loads' the Anarchy's children parts in the character editor, commenting out an asset will prevent it loading in the editor, but the textures will still be present in the game. The character 'reset' which you talk about triggers from a change of torso only, the other body parts won't cause this to happen.
Therefore, to disable this, just comment out each line that contains PartType="Torso" (prepend each line with a semi-colon). Save this file and boot up XCom. You should find that the Anarchy's children torsos are no longer there, but the Spart bashes are still there.
Hope this helps!
I used this mod during my last playthru, really liked the options this provides, but didn't like the stuff the actual DLC included, and hovering over those items reseted everything else, so ended up disabling it for my current playthru.
Thing is, I would love to use this still, the models seem to work fine, but the textures are missing without the DLC installed.
Do you know any workaround for this? Like, I have the DLC, I just don't want it activated, but would love to have this mod activated.
Do you mean like have the Kevlar variants available for Predator? I'm sure there's a config included in the mod that already lets you do that (you'll have to switch out the default for it but it should work).
Now I wonder... Is there any way to keep the Anarchy's kids armor LOOK, across the board of upgraded armors, or would that entail a massive modding of existing armor?
Sorry, but I'm not much modeller. What I'm doing is just cutting and pasting and not the best job at it either. Though, considering the stuff that's coming up on the workshop as of late that might just happen sooner or later.
Thank you!
Nope. This is mostly for the people who don't have the resistance pack.
Anything in this mod that's not in your DLCBashes mod?
