Good map, enjoyed it. Luckily, I'm well familiar with the mechanic you used. Difficulty 6/10 Design 7/10

Well I finally developped and advanced mechanism using funnels like that and I called it "levitation". Here is the demo map where you can test it ;)

I liked this one a lot. The little tutorial on the stasis mechanic in the first room was a nice touch, and I loved the trick for defeating the turrets. It took quite a while to get the reflection cube aimed just right at the switch however, so given your comment below I suspect I may not have been doing that correctly.

I discovered this principle too, but didn't make a map to apply it yet ^^

I love the way you used it ;)

But I agree with nqeron: this is REALLY HARD to fall on the faith plate correctly X)

It had taken longer than it should have figuring how to get onto the glass platform. In retrospect, it's not so difficult.

After reading through the comments, I'm getting the sinking feeling that a couple people aren't quite solving it the way I had hoped. The intended solution has 0 luck and 0 trial and error and very little precision required. Every element of the puzzle chamber is used (perhaps the fizzler is not needed). I'll go back to it and see if it's possible to deter cube throwing shennanigans! Thanks again for the feedback.

@mevious Glad you thought it was clever! I have spent ages staring open mouthed at each of your maps wondering what the absolute f*** do I do!!!! (the pennies did drop eventually)

@copypaste5 I'll get on your new laser puzzle. Really did enjoy your other one I must say

@nqeron What small part did you get caught on? Use and if you need.

Like others, at first I thought aiming the cube in the second puzzle was about precision movements and/or luck... then the real solution hit me. Really clever. :)
Unfortunately, people who are better at cube tossing might simply try it over and over until it works, and that would be a frustrating expierence.

good puzzle! I liked the idea of of the crossing funnels to levitate an object. It was hard to manipulate the reflective cube to point at the laser catcher. Good job
Laser puzzle 4 is released! so please check it out

good puzzle. Iliked the mechanic employed. I got caught up for a while on a small part, but not a crucial one. Overall, nicely designed

thanks erock. I'm glad you liked it. I'm sorry if you got a bit frustrated though. I want it to be quite hard but not annoyingly so! Still, I'm glad you solved it :) I may take out the gates if more people get stuck on them. I don't want to force people to restart the level cus of some glitch...

Great map! Like Prim King I also got stuck behind the gates at the beggining. The first area is great, the second area had me thinking a lot, a nice hard map is always good. I had major trouble figuring out how to line up the lazer cube, it has been pointed out it can be aimed, and I did figure it out, but I still found it frustrating. #F4F please!
Acunil 20 May, 2012 @ 9:39am
Putting the laser cube in the right position at the end actually isn't chance (as I previously thought). It is possible to define it and be right 100% of the time. Thinkwithportals np.

Top job m9 #f4f

ps, your map really is hilarious by the way! loved how you used 90 degree angled panels to create a box that blossms outward. May use that in the future!!
Abstract  [author] 19 May, 2012 @ 2:49pm
thanks for your comment. i realize that cube throwing might be possible however, I didn't want to clutter up the map by adding yet another sheet of glass. The cube thrower will work out what he was meant to do by the end of the puzzle i'm sure! Sorry about the gates. they are needless decoration i suppose. My friend didn't notice the laser catcher in that same part of the map. I guess I could make it a touch more obvious with lights and such.

Great job. It took me a long time to figure out the last part and even longer to execute it. It was on the medium-hard difficulty side for me and I really like your mechanaic and how you created a lot of content with just a few objects.

Possible spolers: I didn't find any real game breaking problems with the map. It took me some time to realize that there is a faith plate in the second part and I also got stuck in this gates when they closed so I had to restart the game. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/PromKing/screenshot/542927703902270787
Could be just a glitch on my end.

On the exploit side. Some of the experienced cube throwers might be able to throw the cube on the first button without using the gravity beam.
