I have a workshop item that makes the inventory size increase for the space suits by x15, but for some reason this character is the only one that doesnt get the increase, I was wondering if there was a way to increase its inventory space some other way.

@adivrsity my recommendation is if you are playing solo when creating the world disable oxygen then just press J and open your helmet. your oxygen wont drain and you wont get hurt by it.

@Sektan yeah I was hoping to use this as a seamless "im a robot" kind of play-through, takes you out of if when you open your helm and you start breathing hard, or run out of O2 and you start dying.

I am thinking the best I might be able to do is modify how quickly O2 deprivation kills or how much stored O2 I have with another mod, and remove the sounds for breathing.

Does anyone have any ideas to make it possible to stop the Unit from dying from oxygen deprivation or losing health in general except from bullets or explosions?

So in this case : <SubtypeId>Default_Astronaut</SubtypeId> would be <SubtypeId>Service_Unit</SubtypeId> so the unique identifiers would apply and the system would not fight for dominance. Each of the skins should have unique identifiers for this reason. This will also allow ad-on modifications corrections to be made without re-upload.

I would love to update the sbc's for these mods but as they ALL have the same subid and modle name that is somewhat difficult. Modadjuster cannot differentiate the files to apply my corrections. So, I could post a framework and you could apply it to the sbc's I suppose, please let me know if you would be willing to do that, or give the models and subid's the corresponding names so the system can tell them apart properly. A major reason these fail wehn applying custom stats is this and missing sbc's to control those stats.

Extending the files would be helpful in this case too I suspect, ie: EntityComoponent_ServiceUnit.sbc then the files could see one another at least. Both would be preferable.

@Sektan I should also add the the error does not occur with only the skin mods enabled, but some other mod or multiple mods seem to cause the suit mods to generate errors and we cannot determine which ones do it, just that they work fine when the only mods installed are S - suits

We believe the final error before the crash was pretty consistently: "2023-11-21 13:56:54.988 - Thread: 71 -> Model Models\Characters\Astronaut\SE_astronaut.mwm - Found too many collision shapes, only the first 10 will be used", however if you would like the full crash log I can also give you that

The crash logs consistently revealing all errors coming from "S -" mods. And these crashes have not happened once with the "S - " suits *not* enabled, this is just very unfortunate and me and everyone I know would love to get to the bottom of this, if you would rather I get you as much data as you need and allow you to solve the issue that is also alright, or if you would approve of letting me go through the code to attempt to see what this problem could be that would also be appreciated! Whatever you decide, thank you and I hope we can try to get these strange errors fixed Lol

Is there a way I could access the code for this mod? All of your "S -" suits (which we love and use so much, which is what makes this so much more unfortunate) causes a strange error when used alongside most other mods that seems to alter the way blocks are rendered, or at-least spits out errors whenever you render a new ship with any "S -" suit downloaded and enabled. The result of these errors is that, whenever rendering a new ship, more common with larger ships or larger number of ships, there is consistently around a 50% of the game crashing while trying to render ships.

HOW TO ACTIVATE MOD AFTER SUBSCRIBING:

1. Start game -> "Load game" -> select your savegame -> "Edit Settings" -> "Mods".
2. Doubleclick "S - Service Unit" on left side, so it goes to right side.
3. Click OK -> OK -> LOAD

HOW TO USE INGAME:

1. Go to medbay.
2. Activate skin changer. (half-round thingie, not terminal)
3. Click Player model [Male Astronaut]
4. Select [Service_Unit] on list
5. Click "Ok"

The Oxygen use could be written off in a realistic sense due to Fusion Welding, the oxygen is used to prevent 2 pieces of metal or other material from welding together due to the lack of resistance

We got the Skin to work on our server, and it is all fine and good, the only weird bit is the need for Oxygen. The Snowbot mk.2 got around this by setting the suit oxygen to 1 and making it never use oxygen. I am not sure how you would go about it, but it is also set to not be able to open the helmet.

So doing some singleplayer testing, I found that I could spawn as the robot, but I also noticed that I had a reliance on Oxygen. Is there any way to remove that, and the choking noise of not wearing a helmet?

I am not able to change into a robot on multiplayer throught the medbay, or the character selection menu, is there a mod that may cause problems with this one, or is anyone else having this issue?

Hey Sektan, running into an issue on a server but I'm not sure if it is the server or if you've run into this issue in the past. Some of my faction can't swap to the service unit and I am unable to swap away from service unit. Any thoughts?
