Which brings me to my question:
Have you considered uploading the map to Garry's Mod's workshop? The game supports CS:GO maps as they are, and I can confirm this map works perfectly fine thanks to its age, so all you'd need to do is set up the addon page and make it clear that mounting CS:GO is required. I'd really love to be able to play on it with my friends in Sandbox and have more people know about the map. It's rare to see love letters to the older games such as this.
indeed, HL3 will start in Freeman's office in Forlorn :D
cool map
@ LambdA: thanks for the server info and good luck
It is 20 slot and 128 tick rate.
We play a lot of other very good maps, including most of the Operation maps. Please have a look here for other maps on the server

@ siXtreme: can you elaborate a little more? are you referring to the small balcony just above the bombsite A plant site? Thanks
Your support is greatly appreciated, especially in light of the recent vote manipulation on the workshop that hit this map hard.
will test it out later.
+Outside area looks sexy
+Nice detail, and theme
+Optimized, really good fps
-Some light just too bright, not sexy
-Layout, too many small path in the middle of the layout

9/10 nice map
You mentioned that this base is abandoned - I think if we think long after the incidends of HL1 and OP, then it would also be nice to see a little HL2 graffiti/propoganda in places. Just a little bit, But I guess it depends if the evacuation was recent :)
