Обход 2 комнаты
В моей камере перенаправление лазеров гораздо интереснее

I solved the first puzzle, but then found a two cube answer to the second puzzle. :) working backwards from the laser receiver I knew I needed a cube to redirect from the second relay into the receiver. Then I tried to find an angle that I could hit the first relay by only using panels that I could portal on from the other side of the laser grid. screenshot (A lot of finicky moving of the cube on the right though.) I then moved the blue portal to get into the exit door and replaced it to leave.
Complicated, but fun puzzle.
Also, the fact that this map relies on laser relays and turrets for most of the difficulty doesn't really fill me with pride. It's kinda' cheap, but it was a simpler time.
I did like all your maps tho. I hope you make some more.
Walking forward and backward I don't get any, for example. Usually when using the strafe movement buttons.
It's also more noticable when I strafe left or right or hold bothe the backwards and left or right movement buttons. Could it be a peculiar issue with P2's version of the Source Engine?
And it's funny you say "a third" as 34% - that's pretty damn close - seems to dislike the test. D: Ah well, this one wasn't meant for a popularity contest.
Players are not normally used to holding up cubes in the air to temporarily activate a cube dropper, which could partially explain the extreme agony you have given to about a third of your test subjects. I also found myself a little confused as to what was relevant and how.
That said, your chamber was perhaps beyond advanced. It's extreme! Now could you please spare us all a little bit more and not have to make us jump across goo on tiny little pillars?
(I can see 35% of people that voted on the map downvoted it, so it probably is frustrating.)
I completed the puzzles the way you intended except for taking care of the second pair of turrets, I did those a harder way. Every step of the way I got screwed by something being finicky. Quite frustrating. Getting the (third) cube had me stumped for quite a long time.
Thanks Reaper
Anway, thanks for the feedback and good job solving it. :D
The way I just did it tonight was by sorta twisting it around one of the 2 laser beacons in the corner. I know that sounds weird but I don't know how to explain it any other way.
Opening the exit though was harder for me. I carried the cube while jumping on the platforms in the water. That was a pain in the a***
So combining both attempts at this map I did actually solve it in the intended manner.
Anyway, don't fret about nog solving the map, it's a pretty hard one. Especially that second chamber. ;) And thank you for being so understanding as to not rate it down, really appreciate it.
I had to look up a tutorial to solve the first phase of the second camber, I would never have thought to do that.
Pros:
• Immaculately well constructed puzzle;
Cons:
• Smashing your keyboard to pieces and running out of the room screaming like a madman after having spent the past two hours staring at the same panel to no avail;
