I really love this mod, firstly because it's something that has always bothered me as a continuity issue and second because I actually think it's an interesting mechanic. Planning my axe throws around where my soldir needs to go next (or vice versa) is very cool.

This said, it does rather screw up the game balance sometimes. I've been wondering if that could be partially mitigated by removing the axe from your inventory permanently if you evac from a mission without collecting a thrown axe. This would both make sense and provide further interesting tactical decisions. Just a thought, thank you for the great mod.

Hi @-bg-, i use the mod for a while and it works perfectly so far, i'm just wondering, when the pick up ui appears it has an 1 under the hand icon, that means that you have only one turn to pick up the axe? Thanks for the great mod!

Wotc makes quite a lot of changes to the loot drop system, I will need to completely rework the mod to be base on templar focus loot thing.

this mod apparently does not work with conceal axe throw [AWC] (on Alien Hunter soldier class mod). I am using LW2 mod,

@Dragon yeah I used the same guy after waiting a turn. The mod launcher isn't finding a conflict with it. I have a loot corpse mod installed, maybe I'll try disabling it.

No. You're trying to pick it up with the person who threw the axe, yes? Or at least someone who could equip it.
If you don't already, try using the Community Mod Launcher to check for conflicts. Details here: Troubleshooting: Mods not working properly / at all

Cool mod, but I tried it out in my game and I found it OP AF. Maybe add a cooldown on the throw or something to help balance?

This might be question outside of scope, but would there be a way to add a second throwing axe to the inventory. Meaning, the soldier could throw a max of two axes and pick up two axes. I'm new to modding but I had this idea as a perk.

Would it be possible to even hide this entire mod behind an unlockable perk?

I've also encountered the bug that my ranger couldn't pick the axe up, but this could be solved simply by having another soldier do something (moving, for example); then the axe could be pick up.

I am not really sure what causes that, you need to try it with the other mod disabled and enabled to see if it's really that mod interfering.

no, the loot mod changes the loot table, not the mechanic of the loot

When you say this mod "greatly modifies Loot Ability," what exactly does that mean? Will it interfere with something like Grimy's Loot mod?

I'm not sure if this will work for sure but it seems like adding a cooldown to the axe throw would make more sense, say a 2 or three turn cool down, as that should enable the same turn retrival of the axe but help balance the current ablity to basicly throw an axe every turn.

currently the tile to indicate where to get your axe back is the same as loot, I want to replace it with my custom one where it shows a different icon. i had finished the code for the ini configurable reusable anything, but i haven't upload it yet because i haven't get the model replacement for the loot to work.

:/ I think I can make this mod configurable instead, so it uses a config file and you just make your throwing knifes add a line in the config and activate alongside this mod, as the changes are very exclusive and can cause incompatibality if multiple mods are attempting to make the same changes on their own set of items/abilities.
