For those that seem to have problems finding A17 got to the top just above the name "RedistHeat"

Press the link "Morgloz's Workshop" and you can find all the versions without any problems.

can the pipes become invisible when built? i always try to keep them in the walls, but if i have to go across a doorway, or open ground, an ugly pipe is just laying there.. perhaps you can be able to make the pipe hide in floors? The hygiene mod makes it to where all piping is hidden when floors are present, but exposed when built on no flooring
WristWeightsEngaged 11 Jul, 2017 @ 4:56am
please make redistheat less verbose in the game log
Daniel_USA 2 Jun, 2017 @ 1:09am

Author kept this old A14 version up but created a "different" mod with the same name:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=763051995 (A15 version)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=837080832 (A16 version)
Linked mods don't require CCL (which appears to have been abandoned)
caninmyham 1 Apr, 2017 @ 3:57pm
Can this be used with the current version?

@#NotAMillennial good point :)
MicroTurtle 29 Jan, 2017 @ 4:50pm
@morgloz that rule only applys to non lazy people who accept that other people exist as well as themselves.
Morgloz  [author] 29 Jan, 2017 @ 2:54pm
@Wolf of Insanity It's good practice to read a few posts back to check if your question has been already answered
Morgloz  [author] 29 Jan, 2017 @ 2:50pm
@Killerdoom14 Ductwork is disabled until I finish it, it's explained in the 0.16 post
Wolf of Insanity 29 Jan, 2017 @ 3:09am
A16 update?
Killerdoom14 28 Jan, 2017 @ 11:56am
Is there a research requirment to getting the ductwork tab? Excuse my idiocy, I just cant seem to find anything.
Man In The Purple Hat 19 Jan, 2017 @ 11:58pm
I found it! thanks much!
Morgloz  [author] 19 Jan, 2017 @ 3:15pm
It is, search it
Man In The Purple Hat 19 Jan, 2017 @ 6:04am
this mod looks so awesome! any chance this will be updated to A16?
tobes31415 19 Sep, 2016 @ 7:58am
In Game it seemed the industrial cooler was outperformed by medium cooler. I went through the xml file to try to figure it out, I took the base power consumption and divided by the energy per second and the medium cooler is 6 times more efficient than the industrial cooler. I'm guessing this is a bug? Or am I interpreting the fields wrong?

Heaters small/med/indust: 20, 24, 24
Coolers small/med/indust: 40, 8, 48

Thanks for all your hard work @Morgloz. I know it's tough when every single update ruins mod development.
Morgloz  [author] 13 Sep, 2016 @ 7:46am
Ok CCL dependency removed, here is the updated version https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=763051995
Morgloz  [author] 2 Sep, 2016 @ 4:31am
CCl Is used for wall placing, so most of the items won't work. However since I only use that feature, I might end up coding it myself, but not in a near future.
karkatic 1 Sep, 2016 @ 7:20pm
i'm guessing (totally ignorant guess) that CCL is used for the ductwork, and the vents and enhanced heating/cooling units might work without CCL? if so, would you consider splitting the ductwork from the vents/temp control units? i really love the vents and in-wall heating and cooling, and miss them tremendously!
Chaos Uncensored 30 Aug, 2016 @ 8:07pm
Sweet, cant wait till CCL gets their update done, missing alot of mods right now because of it.
Morgloz  [author] 30 Aug, 2016 @ 8:24am
Ok I finished updating it, but ii will be useles until CCL updates too.
Ain't Nobody Like A Somebody 29 Aug, 2016 @ 5:44pm
Love this mod mate :D
Torkkar 29 Aug, 2016 @ 5:10pm
good about the update cause I just subed this mod 2 hours before the update and then got back to the game A15 all your mods are down but 3 updated so your saved game is now useless in doth A14 & A15 lol my luck.
☾⎛sιтєʀ⎞☽ 29 Aug, 2016 @ 2:32pm
@Morgloz Thanks. This mod is just so useful because it takes away a lot of clutter and doesn't make my walls look like they were separated by a white box.
Morgloz  [author] 29 Aug, 2016 @ 2:31pm
I noticed the rimworld update now, I'll start updating redistheat tomorrow.
☾⎛sιтєʀ⎞☽ 29 Aug, 2016 @ 12:42pm
Will this be updated to A15 soon? I really like the vents and wall mounted coolers/heaters this mod offers. I don't see how they aren't in the core game. XD
Gunt Fuchmann 28 Aug, 2016 @ 2:17pm
Any ETA on an A15 version?
Torkkar 27 Aug, 2016 @ 5:45pm
FINALLY! the greatest mod in rimworld comes to steam now maybe my colonists can survive a heat wave
Fefo 26 Aug, 2016 @ 3:44pm
@Morgloz Yes, CCL installed and updated. I do have quite a few other mods, lol. Trying to figure out what is interfering with this is gonna be... well, problematic.
And btw, don't know if it helps, but this is the error that shows on the debug log when I try to place the cooler

Honshitsu 26 Aug, 2016 @ 9:29am
Fair point
Morgloz  [author] 26 Aug, 2016 @ 6:53am
@AstroChimp
Wow!, Have you installed CCL? If the answer is yes, do you have other mods installed?

@Alæstor
If they spam the log is because you are in debug mode, if you want less items you can delete them in the .XML file located in the ThingDefs folder.
Honshitsu 26 Aug, 2016 @ 5:56am
Any chance you can make the wall-mounted heater standalone? I really love the medium heater & vents but im torn on the rest of the mod. Good in theory and small applications, but the ducts seem to spam and flicker between low and high values when i build large bases and sometimes cause log spam so I just stopped using them... Ended up unsubbing because it was taking up a lot of gui space for the few items I wanted. Good mod though. I enjoyed it quite a bit when i first used it. Thanks for reading, and this mod :D
Fefo 25 Aug, 2016 @ 6:08pm
Just noticed something even more bizarre. Whenever I construct a duct pipe. My game turns into this: http://imgur.com/uGCnUd6
And yeah, even in newer worlds, the game goes crazy like this when i construct a duct.
Fefo 25 Aug, 2016 @ 5:49pm
Having the same problem as NotSoFatTony. Are we too stupid to use it, or is something wrong, like mods interefering with the industrial cooler?
Face | Certified Unc 25 Aug, 2016 @ 2:15pm
@Morgloz @Lethann The issue with vents seems to be that they have a limited rate of temperature transfer. Unlike the stock vents, which are instantanious. They do have trouble if you are trying to vent heat from, for example, a duct cooler. I find that the room will start at 100+ and slowly work down to the outside temperature. The rate may need to be buffed if further issues occur.
NotSoFatTony 25 Aug, 2016 @ 1:11pm
Hey just checking back in to see if maybe more info is needed with my issue or if I'm just being stupid.... I can't seem to place any industrial stuff. When trying to place on open ground I see the materials needed by the mouse but there is no outline of the item, clicking doesn't place it either. The only time I see the outline for the item is if I'm trying to place it on top of an existing object like a wall or work bench. Of course I can't place it there but that's the only place I even see a ghost image of the object.
Morgloz  [author] 25 Aug, 2016 @ 4:50am
@Lethann
1. Yes, it's intended.
2. I'll check them then.
Lethann 23 Aug, 2016 @ 7:46am
Two things:

First, Exhaust Ports can't seem to be placed until after the cooler is fully built. Is this by design?

Second, the regular 'vents' don't seem to work at all for me. I had two 10x10 rooms that vented into each other and while one room was skyrocketing over 80 degrees the other was still a low 60s.

@luis.mendez6
I've updated the Important section to explain how to make other walls compatible.
Sir Luis 20 Aug, 2016 @ 2:38pm
i know i asked already if you could make your mod work on the sterile walls mod but it dawned on me that it makes more sense to find a way to make it work on any modded walls that may or may not yet exist.
Sir Luis 20 Aug, 2016 @ 11:38am
can you make a duct pipe [middle] ??
NotSoFatTony 20 Aug, 2016 @ 1:39am
I can't seem to place the industrial stuff, it only shows the placement outline when its being blocked by something. I.e. a wall or butchers table. I can see the materials needed next to the mouse when its in the open but I get no placement outline and can't set it down. What am I doing wrong?
Morgloz  [author] 18 Aug, 2016 @ 10:39am
@luis.mendez6
I'll try my best, but as I said earlier, I'm working on an old laptop and that's making me work insanely slow.
Sir Luis 18 Aug, 2016 @ 10:33am
any hope of making it work with the sterile walls mod?
im posting a safe link of the sterile walls mods.

Thanks! It's a great piece of work and I'm going to add it to the post now.
