Hey np ! i have tried updating the blocks all at once but failed since there are small blocks. but just as easy to go through and take then out one by one. But GL if you need help i can always do that to.

you're right! All the steel blocks are just the 50hp version. Maybe it's because this blueprint is really old and just got optimizied with every version of Empyrion? I'll try to find a solution. Thanks again. Maybe the devs can help.

through out the bay area far as i have seen. i have not looked at the entire ship. but from what i have seen most of the cv is that way. i tried unsubbing then resubbing . maybe a DL issue. but was still the same.

You got some wierd things going on with your steel blocks and hardened steel blocks. As they are showing up as small blocks. i have tried every command to change them to large . i would have to go through with a multi tool and change them one by one. Figure i would bring this to your attention. if more info is needed just message me

I did this and it seems to be easier to land, but now as i increase the height, i get issues with getting into the ship :P
I guess I have to add a ramp or something at the back.

Another hint: Empyrion has some bugs with planetary landing. Try this:
- land the ship
- turn it off while in cockpit
- leave cockpit
- turn it on again by pressing "y"

-> energy drain should be minimized

I think this will do the trick. Just add 2 gears at the front and two more seperated widely at the back bottom. I'm waiting for retractable gears to "officialy" update the Kshatra.

I just built this ship, its a very good ship, but I have one challenge.
Landing gear, it is very hard to land this ship on a planet without the ship using alot of fuel to stay still. Will it do the trick to add a small landing gear below or what do you think about this?

nvm, my HV's bottom was too long, had a piece that extended down on the front, got rid of that and it works. sadly my computer sucks so i cant run with many lights on inside.

Simply beautiful aesthetic design. This is one of those rare blueprints where the voxel nature has been so supremely disguised that this looks like a coherent single vision. The attention to detail in both interior and exterior spaces is awesome. Absolutely stunning. Designs like these are what continue to inspire me.

I saved space for use later as the game progresses. Maybe there'll be shield generators or other stuff. The extra space in the wings is for potential hydraulics, for example.

there so much free space in the ship i bet you could cut it down a 1000 blocks because so much wasted room...on the plus it handles very well for its size with all the thrusters and alot hard work must of been put into the ship

Yep, you are right with both of this.
But it's not just built for PvP - so I just included everything I thought might of interest. Just remove the things not important for you. I hope we get the hydraulics or something to move blocks around in the future. There's a retractable shield for the glass around the cockpit in my originial concept.

I see ship design for Empyrion as work in progress, because it's an alpha. So my designs are often a compromise between now and future maybe-possibilities.

I just love to create things. In my "real life", I'm a layouter & media consultant. Designing these ships is a hobby, but sometimes feels even a bit like meditation. I did the video because I thought it my help inspire people - the concepts I talk about there can be applied to other creative projects without problems. Yep, I've got the other two games. But they lack the (upcoming) open Universe of Empyrion, so I decided to dopt my time into empy. Have fun on your adventure and gl to you, too. :)

I watched your video on ship construction. Man.. I wish I had this sort of dedication to make things more fun in games. My r.l. is taking me away from games as i adventure through life though and maybe i'll get back to the finer aspects one day. I was thinking you might enjoy a couple other voxel games. These are 'From the Depths' (daunting learning curve at first) and possibly 'Space Engineers. Although the latter I have had problems with. From the Depths is sofar quite the challenging to learn but might give you more parameters for design and build. Good luck to you

I posed the challenge because I have wanted to see a design inspired by the Hammerhead, but cannot think of how to add a hanger bay on to said design such that a hovercraft could enter it - the "body" of the craft mirroring the body of the creature, would be too high off the ground. Hence the posited gauntlet.

That being said, I prefer designs like the kshatra to that of a hammerhead because I think it makes more sense in space combat - I reject the idea that long thin designs(that make up the body of works on the workshop) make any sense out of a fluidic medium, so if you want to disregard this challenge go for it. I look forward to seeing your next design.
