Calling all modders
I have no idea if there's a legitimate resource to request mods, so I am infiltrating the threads of modders who appear to know their shit.
Long story short, I'm sick of → exploding cars ← and would like to mod them out! I'm told this would likely be an easy fix, but I know nothing about modding.

I know this has nothing to do with your item mod, and I apologize for intruding here ... but I thought hey, maybe you'd be willing. Can't hurt to ask?

Es ist vielleicht ungewöhnlich, aber ich habe an Dich eine besondere Anfrage bzw Bitte:
Besteht die Möglichkeit bei der Soldatenliste (Übersicht über verfügbare XCom-Trooper / Avanger/Waffenkammer) eine neue Sortier-Ebene einzufügen?
Bislang gibt es nur die Sortier-Optionen Name, Waffenklasse oder nach Erfahrung.
Eine "drag & drop"-Option ohne sonstige Bedingungen wäre traumhaft!
Kurze Rückmeldung wäre toll ( und sei es nur ein "ini.-Tipp" ), DANKE im Voraus!
I like that the items are ranked and that they require components of the previous ranks, however it's awkward having to unequip them.
I've also found a bug.
I had two soldiers with neural connectors. I unequipped both for upgrading. One was rank I and one was III. When I purchased connector II, both converted!
When I tried to cheese 2x connector III's, I was unable to recreate the bug.
Now, I'm also using grimy's loot mod, so yeah, this becomes especially true when you give a sidearm holster to your trooper ( -6/5/4 mobility but +1 action ), but the point is still valid, a soldier running from one end of the battlezone to the other is a little silly. Although useful on the defend resistance haven alternate mission from the more mission pack, as it allows your assault with CCS to run straight into the center of the reinforcement dropzones to either outright kill or soften up everything that lands.
I want that the objects get better with time. As Inventoryitems you can unequip and upgrade whenever you want. A used PSC can't be removed and you can't upgrade it.
For the game you could also say that the items be connected on the psc instead of replacing the eyes or something like that ;)

The total cost for Level 5 now is 225 Supplies and 5 Corpses.
Before they were 375 Supplies and 9 Corpses.
