Light passes straight through fully closed doors as if they were not there if the door (blue note) is connected.

That's a vanilla bug I can do nothing about (as far as I know). It's just more obvious with my lighting mod(s).

Very fun.
Good works.
That's the same settings I ran with for quite some time as well. I'm glad you like it!
Yep!
It's not about making the game harder, it's about immersion.
Thanks! This is mainly for use without the main portion of TanzLO, as making all lights into shadow-casting lights achieves basically the same effect. But if you have performance issues using the main portion, this is an alright alternative.
I'm not sure what you mean. Like, every foreground block just solid black? Not as far as I know.
Yep, I made that one too: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=729467376
This is a bug with vanilla. It's present (though less obvious) without my mods. Nothing I can do about it. :c
That's the idea! :D Makes mining trips a bit more immersive, too, in my opinion.
It shouldn't. The main TanzLO package does, the customization bits shouldn't.
It's client-side.
With how TanzLO changes lighting, this isn't needed. But if you want stuff even darker, it can help.
The passthrough mods are compatable with TanzLO, but are kinda subtle with the main package. It's best to use without, but if you wanna limit things even more, this may help.
I'll see if I can figure it out.
Shouldn't cause any issues if you're both allowing mismatched assets.
Sticking with the Lighting overhaul
Thank you!
And Thank you for these mods!
>As in, does it affect the ore glow alot?
Shouldn't affect it too much. If anything, it'll just make the glow not penetrate very far. In which case, you might have brightly-lit ore (if you're using the bright glow) that only shines one tile deep.
As in, does it affect the ore glow alot?
>Will Better Flares & Glowsticks work?
Mainly it's for people who don't want to see into the tiles so easily. The Matter Manipulator highlight square helps, but lights won't pass deep into the floor like in vanilla.
'Better Flares and Glowsticks' doesn't change how deep they shine, so I don't think they'd help.
Will Better Flares & Glowsticks work?
Nope, but Lighting Overhaul has a similar effect because of how shadows work. I usually install them together, because it increases the darkness.
This should help people who want a similar effect without too much of a hit on performance.
