Thank you lots for this mod I always thought the vanilla flag looked much too cartoony compared to other dwarf flags I was beggining to be jealous. Now the Dwarf flag looks just as badass as they are! Thanks.

heh... all good :) I was scratching my head because this is a simple little mod.

Well I just tried it again and all seems well. I unsubscribed then deleted it from the mod list then subscribed again and... PRESTO! I apologize for any unecessary work and thank you.

Causes my game to crash and that is after a fresh install and one other mod that reskins Slayers.

Just looked at screenshots... yep you have another mod that's writing the same db files as this mod... hence why your unit flags aren't black and gold.

Ah... black flags are new images I did... and the unit flags, could either be conflicting with another mod that's overwritting this... OR... this mod doesn't effect unit flags... I can't remember lol !!!

my units flags are still showing blue but campaign shows black flags on my provences

Hay Mr K love all your work got it all. OK i am getting the Black flags on all my provinces but all my units are still showing the Blue and gold as there unit flags.

With the orcs I am shooting for a more primitive, tribal, savage look. I bring all this uo here because you mentioned this was a requested mod so I am requesting advice and help.

Kelstr I'm curious if you, like me, dislike the greenskin banner and would like to find a replacer? In truth I would like to replace several banners but am starting with this one. And yes I am the guy who just made the "teal" jab about the griffons. I have edited a banner that I found and would like to do more but find I am missing the light switch when trying to save the pack file. Could you help me out or steer me in the right direction.

@HaVuk Glad you like the mod !! There must be another mod that you have that's conflicting with this one. I can check later tonight, but this mod has worked perfectly fine for me and others. I would suggest you disable ALL mods except this one, then load a new game... to see if it works for you :) Then you can turn on more mods and find which one is conflicting.

Hey i love your mod! I seem to have a problem though, all the dwarf banners next to names of my holds have correctly changed to your banner but the banner that my armies use are still the default ones. Do you know what could be causing this problem? for example, Looking at your 1st screenshot, my throgrim still has the blue and gold default banner and not the one shown in your ss.

Funny note, I didn't like the read so k changed it to be a lime green color and I changed the shield emblem and battle flag colors to be black and green... I think it looks much better... lemme know if you want me to post that for you as another option !!

i...dont know what alpha layers n stuff are...i dont have the program to edit images some one else had edited this image for me

i hate to be a bother but could i perhaps share the image with you and you could take a look at it for me? no one else has really responded to my questions but you so i really dont know whom else to ask

@Ainz depends on your graphic... I'm guessing it has to do with the alpha layers, either you're not saving with alpha layers, or if you are, then you need to edit the alpha layer to be closer to your image :) that should fix it !!

I edited an image as a custom banner for the VC but when i converted it from.PNG to .DDS implemented it in the game its surrounded by a lot of white lines:

@Laser hmmm lemme look at this later tonight, maybe I'll tweak it.

i have one little critique, its too black. its as if its absorbing all visable light its so dark...

@Laser you're right this is JUST for the dear em flag, not the units :) I might do a dwarf variation mod but down the road :)

@Ainz in PFM open data.pack

Then expand DB, then open faction_banner_colors..... that will change the color of banners for custom battles, as well as on the campaign map.

If you want to change the flag itself, you need to go to UI then expand FLAGS.... each factions flag is in there... you need to edit the .png files as well as he one .dds file :)

excuse me, where does one go in PFM to recolor flags? is their a table out their that shows what numerical values make what color?

But just to let any perspective users know, this mod just recolors the flag and nothing else.

If you want black dwarfs you'll need another mod for that.

unfortunatly the onlyone i can find on the workshop removes beastmen fom the grand campaign.
