There is no evidence of the romans carrying 2 pila,
Let alone having 2 different kind (light and heavy).
In fact we have more reasons to believe they only had 1 per legionary (Trojan carvings, and the fact that the scutum has an horizontal handle wich makes unweildy to carry a second pilum.

this doesn't work for me they still only shoot once (and then only half of them) or not at all

I think it will better if you reduce the range a bit. This mod makes cavalry unit become more vulnerable to infantry. Btw thank you for this mod.

If I remember correctly it changes the pilum_heavy so mostly only the Roman units that use it. Some high end other units may use it as well it depends on how they're configured but I think it was pretty rare.

Does this only work for the Roman Faction? Or does this allow all factions played by the player to have improved javelin ability?

Yes compatible with Emperor. Brightness is pretty high up there lol my PC is ancient :D @Drange they just throw them further and faster allowing for more maneuvring. We all know CA made the units pretty insecure lol it sometimes takes them ages to throw or face the right direction after a command. Rome 1 was much better in this aspect so I changed this so I could have more fun with my Rome custom battles wether you like it or not that's up to you :)
