For some reason it makes the CSS weapons appear transparent. I tried every other fix, I tried uninstalling, verifying, etc. So far, I can't find a fix for it. Nevertheless it makes single-player a breeze and is entertaining enough to warrant multiple play-throughs of the campaigns.

I created a mod similar to this one with infinite chainsaw but I can't get CSS weapons to look like they're destroyed in my hands.

@Omixsat Holy cow, I like it! I don't have the knowledge required to make the mod work as intended, this is the reason why I never fixed the major issues. Great work there!

There's a way to modify weapon properties without altering the gamemodes.txt since that would cause issues when connecting to sv_pure servers. If you convert this to vscript like how I implemented it here , then the properties will revert back to normal once the addon is disabled.

Welp guys, I played L4D2 again and... the mod works 99% fine. I found two problems:
- The first game is affected by an autokick bug caused from the modded scripts not corresponding to the vanilla ones. Just let one guy join the game (and wait until he kicks himself), exit the game and start a new one. The command sv_pure 0 doesn't help, so idk.
- Sometimes the mod stop working and the games turns on vanilla stats. Restart l4d2 is the only fix.

I'm getting extra reserve ammo, but the ammo in the guns themselves is staying the same, and they still feel weak.

now, it's seeming to no work for the shotguns. I have 14 and 20 as the clip ammo. But the remaining ammo is still 56 and 80. And I have no idea why. Every other weapon is working fine.

The AK-47 has seemingly higher spread, I noticed you increased the spread per shot a little too high, you should change it back to normal. For the two semi-auto snipers, I really dislike the fact that there's spread within the scope, I think it shouldn't have any spread when scoped in. One more thing, some of the weapons, well, maybe it's only the sniper rifles, they seem to visually kick more (unscoped), I think the vertical punch should be unchanged as well. That's all in terms of some adjustments that should be made, other than that, this mod is cool...

is there a way you could do something about how much damage the weapons do to players? on custom maps that have turrets, all the guns shred through my entire team in seconds. maybe also do something about the friendly fire with the shot guns as well. tried to go back to the normal weapons and realized how hard the game was (and how trash the weapons are normally) so I now wont even play without this mod.

@Eternal Red They are conflicting because both mods use gamemode.txt and the game can handle one at time. If you know how to do it, you can merge them.

@Mart I got this because my favorite weapon is the Chrome Shotgun and this makes it more realistic, minus the ammo capacity.
