Unfortunately, the lousy staff and clique of older generation modders is to blame for many aspiring RW modders to quit working on their mods.
Last I saw they made the biggest dog's anus the main guy for RW's Steam section. That's not gonna help, either.

Even though it has some problems now, I think it must become vanilla.
please fix.
An error log for ya related to on load errors
I haven't changed any code.
Please let me know if it works.
They have some wonky ideas and perspectives on how a community should be run and who gets to mod what. Problem is they'll enforce those rules because they're also the staff you'd otherwise go to if there's a problem. And if their collegues step out of line (happens quite often), they just give each other a slap on the wrist and a free pass to continue.
Like many others, I've been bullied out of the modding scene for RW and I've had a hard time expanding on my work and keeping it up to date.
- Removed CCL dependancy & features
Version 2.0
- Completely changed the backend code to this mod (almost) from scratch
- Spotlights now follow their target as long as it is valid
- Added glow effect around spotlight itself once light is on
- Removed UI icon, reverted back to vanilla style
- Added back in sound effect for when the light goes on
- Added new custom texture
- Reverted cost to now include stuff cost again (also includes option to build a wooden base!)
- Code-wise, turret no longer fires - just targets at something
- Cleaned up the XML files
Your existing spotlights will automagically scale back down to being 1x1 of size.
