Well looking slightly odd is better than not having it dont you think? i mean they may relase snotlings later with the oger packs but we arent sure.
drazan  [author] 24 Oct, 2016 @ 5:33am
@Gringol Ghoul King i thought about it, but it's far from the same model. so it would just look wierd.
Destroyer67115 23 Oct, 2016 @ 3:42pm
@drazan do you think with the corpsecart and razorgore chariot released that you can no cobble together a snotling pump wagon?
Chaosbot 12 Oct, 2016 @ 10:53am
why not reduce the size of the blasting charge and turn the color of the explosion green???
ukmf_diablo 2 Sep, 2016 @ 1:15pm
What I mean is.. The ork would probably run away at the sight of a Fight he knew he would lose... where as a snotling would not :P
ukmf_diablo 2 Sep, 2016 @ 1:11pm
Thanks for that! Just an opinion, perhaps have an upgraded snotling unit that has the bully, with extra leadership? Think Lore wise it would make more sense. I recall an entire army of Snotlings, once being led by a Runty Ork... His name escapes me! So it does make sense dont get me wrong. :) Usually Snotlings are too stupid / silly to be led by anything! (Thats why they have the unbreakable trait) were not the only ones who love the lil' greenskin buggers :)

drazan  [author] 2 Sep, 2016 @ 12:58pm
@ukmf_diablo anyway if you want to remove the bully, you need to have pack file manager. open my mod (should be in your warhammer data folder) so open the mod open in the db section land_units_table find the officer and delete it then copy A_blank_record in the place
and delete the table land_units_officers. then you also might want to delete land_units_to_unit_abilities_junction_table (to remove use da whip) just hit save and you're done
ukmf_diablo 2 Sep, 2016 @ 12:54pm
Yeah, I know it isnt possible, :( Im just being cheeky! But I understand you need to keep things organised :P
ukmf_diablo 2 Sep, 2016 @ 12:52pm
I used to field an entire army of snotlings back in the day.. So this is Just amazing thankyou!
drazan  [author] 2 Sep, 2016 @ 12:51pm
@ukmf_diablo pump wagon not possible. we have no ways to put new models in game so we have to mod with what we have. and hope that c.a comes with stuff like pump wagon and squigs. if you want a version without bully it's easy to do for yourself, i could guide you through it (i'm not making seperate versions of the same mod just for the simple fact to keep it more organized for me)
ukmf_diablo 2 Sep, 2016 @ 12:50pm
Snotling Pump wagon next!? Also, maybe a snotling unit, sans the bully? Love what youve done so far with all your work ;]
drazan  [author] 29 Aug, 2016 @ 2:02pm
@SleepyNarwhalz that would be possible, but i will only limit myself to the greenskins. sorry. this is just to protect my self, eventually i will want to play with what i created. and now end up like with rome 2 total war where i overhauled the entire game, only to get frustarted and delete everything :p
SleepyNarwhalz 29 Aug, 2016 @ 1:37pm
Hey Drazan do you think you could shrink down a bunch of humans and make halflings?
Skkizoboy 29 Aug, 2016 @ 11:49am
@drazan: perhaps was that option developed for hounds units, in other TW games? About the position in the rank (near flank rather than center), it's the same with the Thralls. Don't know why. In any case, great job, your unit is gonna look even better!
drazan  [author] 29 Aug, 2016 @ 7:12am
@Skkizoboy ye i didn't need the mod, in the land_units_officers_table under unknown7 it says by default "front" so i just set it to "back" and now the officer should be in the back (tho for some unknown reason he is not in the middle , but in the very corner of the back..i don't know if that can be changed)
Skkizoboy 29 Aug, 2016 @ 6:33am
@drazan: if you do, look at the back of the Thralls units. I said the Cultists but it's the Thralls instead. Hope it will help!
drazan  [author] 29 Aug, 2016 @ 6:16am
@Skkizoboy guess i'll have to download the mod and take a look then
Skkizoboy 29 Aug, 2016 @ 6:15am
@drazan: understand me, your unit is great. And I thought too that the officer had to be at the front of the unit, but I saw the Cultists units with their "HR manager" at the back. So I guess there's a way to do it, which is why I pointed it out to you. I just don't know how.
drazan  [author] 29 Aug, 2016 @ 5:44am
@Skkizoboy ye i understand what you try to say, and it would look better and more accurate. however it's not possible. the offcier (are not even in the base game) are a left-over mechanic from rome total war (and probably attila total war aswel) so i used those tables and there the officer was by default in the first ranks. so i very much doubt that that can be changed. it's better then nothing i guess
Skkizoboy 29 Aug, 2016 @ 3:01am
Hey drazan, really like the unit! Thanks a lot; these proud and noble snotlings are definitely a force to be reckoned with. One suggestion: why not put the orc at the back of the unit, so he's forcing the other to move forward? I mean if he turns his back on the snotling, they'll most probably flee under the rocks within a second. In the "Chaos Divided" mod, the author (Demon Spider) did that for the Cultists units (there's a muscular Norse at the back of the unit, with a whip). It may perhaps be a inspiration. Of course, this is only a suggestion, it's your mod.
Thanks again!
SleepyNarwhalz 27 Aug, 2016 @ 2:44pm
I just looked at a picture and they look very close to their size in TT

Terror Romanorvm 24 Aug, 2016 @ 8:59am
I understand your point drazan, and I do see you have done a great job here. I've been playing with TT Greenskins for more than 10 years so I think I know how snotlings should look, in this mod they look smaller to me than they are supposed to be, actually they look like gretchins (40k lore) rather than snotlings. Anyway, don't get me wrong; was just my opinion and thanks for coming up with this work mate!
Nazgreg 23 Aug, 2016 @ 3:51pm
an orc or a goblin*
Nazgreg 23 Aug, 2016 @ 6:48am
@drazan I dont want being annoying, but they cant break because they are stupid like shit... They dont know what it happend really every time, and about the lore an orc or a snotling never will lead a snotling swarm because shame xD that is what say in the army book 7º the same in the rules. But wathever, I like the unit already and the work what u take to make the ability of the bully.
Lyvewyrez 23 Aug, 2016 @ 4:58am
Ok so they are like the zombies of Greenskins? Arrow catchers essentially?
drazan  [author] 23 Aug, 2016 @ 1:46am
update: removed the very dark green and the olive green from the skin colours. so now they have the dark green and the green that is a bit brightern then orkish green (see picture of bully vs the snotling)
if you want the previous colours back then i can guide you step by step how to add them back in (the models are still in the mod) you just have to add them yourself, which is very easy (just a copy paste really)
enjoy
drazan  [author] 23 Aug, 2016 @ 1:16am
@Lyvewyrez they suck at everything, and they are the best at doing so. orcs are dumb but snotlings are even dumber. goblins are small, but even a goblin bullies a snotling. they are used as ammo, as food and they do all the dirty jobs. the biggest benefit, they are numerous like really numerous. you kill 1, 100 take it's place. they rely on heavy numbers to "swarm" that's why i gave them 200 unit (on ultra unit setting) and a bully so they don't break (bully has an realistic ability to keep them in check)
drazan  [author] 23 Aug, 2016 @ 1:13am
@destroyerofskulls there is no black, just very dark green
but okay i gonna remove 2 colours and just stick the the more normal greens then
Misfortunate Son 22 Aug, 2016 @ 5:45pm
Just stick with Green and the differant shades, and don't use black with them. The only excuse i could give would be that the Snotling fell into a pile of warpaint. But i doubt that the amount of Snotlings shown here all ended up doing that. So yeah, don't use black.
Lyvewyrez 22 Aug, 2016 @ 4:32pm
What are the snotlings good for, strategy wise? I kind of figured them to be like zombies, cheap fodder that gets thrown at the enemy first to tie them up. But that's kinda what gobbo spear units are for.

Did you envisage any niche that these guys would be used for?
Nazgreg 22 Aug, 2016 @ 4:07pm
I like the size but im with Romanorvm about the darkest color.
[WFI] Octavian Mash 22 Aug, 2016 @ 3:42pm
This is hilariously awesome.
SirGreenfield 22 Aug, 2016 @ 3:24pm
i like the 4 colours. gives more variation to those "snotties"
bully is awesome too :D
drazan  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 2:40pm
@Terror Romanorvm they loo small because they are small. they are snotlings, even goblins bully snotlings
Terror Romanorvm 22 Aug, 2016 @ 2:38pm
They don't look fine to me with that dark colour. I'd rather choose a greenish skin. And they look very small as well. Good job anyway.
drazan  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 1:35pm
just a question. do you guys like the 4 colours or would you rather have the normal green-ones?
Nazgreg 22 Aug, 2016 @ 8:50am
lol, ok.
Gontex 22 Aug, 2016 @ 4:41am
lol, you don't like Black Snotlings? #BSLM
drazan  [author] 22 Aug, 2016 @ 4:10am
@Nazgreg no only the artillery (rock lobba, doom diver and spear chukka) have an bully. this is just pure visual. something to keep the swarm in check. and there is no black colour, just 4 types of green. going from very dark, to very light
Nazgreg 22 Aug, 2016 @ 3:29am
They got an officer in the army book? As i can remember they are an unbreakeable swarm. Ty for ad this but i have to ask, can replace the black color with a green tone? That so darky skin makes weird for me.

Wathever thanks for your work ^^
