As they were present in the game introduction movie, I consider them as lore-friendly. Thanks for the mod.

I just wanted to let you know that I'm going to still post stuff, whether douches like you like it or not. If you're not going to be civil or respectful like you claim everyone has to be, then don't bother saying anything, cause I'm not even going to bother talking to you then.

So in other words, either be civil or shut up and move on.

I might prefer just having one wyvern in a unit, to reflect the scarcity of the unit, and not having such a point sink. I think just one would be enough to tip a battle. But putting a limit of one is a good idea. So it's just that limit, and not a RoR?

@WhiteKnight777 wyvern mod works just fine. only 2 mods that crash are forest goblin and night goblin. i'm working on it

crashing upon start with new dlc release seems to be the case with the other orc mods youve made aswell

@drazan: you're right. My comparison was more focused on "wyvern riders vs. large flying units", because the control of the sky is very important in battles, as it gives access to any point of the field and the ability to flee a combat without getting runned after by close-combat units. So I think that wyvern riders should not give the sky control to the orcs, at least not in such a strong manner. The only faction that should have a real advantage in sky control is the VC, because it allows them to compensate for their slooow infantry units. Just my 2-cents, of course.

@Nazgreg they are not common and i do not disagree, that's why i put a unit cap to them both in campaign and multiplayer. so you will only have 1 unit (3 wyverns) + more wyvern if you chose them as mount for warbosses (personally i only pcik warboar, because it just looks awesome) i think ONLY 3 wyvern in a campaign is reasonable.
and regarding the cost, wyvern are priced at 3000. that's 1000 per head,a big upkeep. no other unit is that expensive because no other unit is that rare. i will lower the leadership and maybe the meelee attack and some damage

@Skkizoboy i tested the wyvern riders vs a giant, (wyverns lost) vs an arachanrok (wyverns lost) vs chaos giant (wyvern lost)

the thing about stuff like cygor is, they are not elite units. they are just large monsters. the elite of the beastman would be a ghorgon if you look at their monsters/giants. vargheists are only a mid tier unit take that in mind aswell. terrorgheist i will have to look at that. i did however test them vs blood knights and that went quite well (the anti large packs a decent punch)

Hey Drazan, great unit. Might be unbalanced though; I tested the wyvern riders against several units of the same cost:
- terrorgheist + vargheist (together): absolutely slaughtered by the wyverns riders, despite support by the necromancer
- VC on dragon: same
- Galrauch (from Chaos Divided): the wyvern riders were wounded pretty badly (10% of health reamining) be they never fled, and after beating the dragon I could kill the chaos lord (Sigvald).
- Cygors: killed three in a row without losing much health.
Note that I haven't used the "wyvern roar" ability, which is powerful. So I think they should be nerfed: less attack, defense and less leadership (orks like to fight, up to a certain point). Perhaps also decreasing the number of wyvern to 2. Well, I let you consider it; thanks again anyway!

For any viewers debating the lore accuracy of this, Wyvern "squads" do have a precedent. Gorbad used a swarm of them during his assault of Altdorf.
