so ehh im not sure why but when i have this mod on "Volkmar the Grim" is only named "the Grim" anyone have this problem or know how to fix it ?

Yeah, it was the Ironsides mod, it hasn't been updated yet.

Can only recruit 2 RoR units in custom battles though, don't know if that's intended or not.

I'm using the Nuln Ironsides mod, alongside with a change to AI recruitment. Those are the only things I have that affect units in any way possible. Will disable them and see if it works, will also take a look inside the game folder to make sure there are no leftover files from previous mods.

No but you most likly use a mod that changes the main unit tables

Oddly enough, I can only recruit a maximum of 2 units, not 8. I don't use Radious or any mod that edits the start position.

I the begining I could recruit 4, and all renown troops have been unlocked at level 1 then that was fixed perhaps after mod update. I just noticed that I can have 5 now.

yeah now I can recruit 5, can u make it compatible with his? Many people play his mods and want to get like an army of RoR, but can't :(

Are you sure it is not 5 units you are not limited to and not 4.
Becouse Radious as limited it to 5 so i can be that.

Most of them have nothing to do with renown except one that gives renown experience pool, and Radious is a overhaul type mod.

Sound odd, does not happen for me. Are you sure you are not useing another mod which may conflict with this mod. Give me a list of the mods you are using and i may help you

I have the same problem, I can recruit 4 units of them all in the vampire counts faction.

I subscribed this one, but unit cards just disappear after I had 4 of them.

Sounds wierd, which unit and which faction?
Becouse when i test i can get all 8.
Are you sure you are not useing the 4 Limit Regiment of Renown and not this one

I mean, the unit cards will disappear once you get up to 4 of them.

It will ban you from recruiting once you get 4 troops

tested in the game, the limit of ror is indeed 8, so the current desciption is wrong..
one problem though, the lords' level requirement for recruiting ror units is gone, so i can recruit any ror unit i want on level 1..
