Very nice custom map.

Ok, but I like a nice classic Portal 2 puzzle better.

It's very pretty, but my extensive sessions in Gmod have made that wood scraping sound used for the platform here very irritating for me.

Awesome looking stuff BC - You're just the mapper who keeps on giving and giving!

The look is sort of camoflages the tools to get out. I do like it. It's a different look. The camoflaging affect of the elements may make puzzles made to big this way to be very difficult.

@Leo level 1 and 2 are already up :)

Very nice visuals, I especially liked the mirrored laser emitter. Not a fan of the cube design, though. The whole thing reminds me of the "Serious Sam" series.

Really cool concept here, the ancient temple aesthetic looks great, and you get this very interesting juxtaposition of a futuristic laser amongst the stone plinths and such. Also I like the custom stone grating sounds for the moving platforms and doors. Is this going to be a part of the batcature series? Or is this it's own side-project? At any rate, the texture work and the aesthetic looks great. Not a lot I can comment on here in terms of level design. My only suggestion would be to use a more solid stone texture for the cube, as it's semi translucent look is a little confusing compared to the rest of the temple area. Adding in some custom sounds for dropping the cube would give that extra bit of detailing to the area as well, but admittedly these are all minor suggestions.

Look forward to see where this is going!

@kwinten I've started making textures myself that are whiter so it is more clear, you could check it out in level 1 :D

thanks for the comment

I love the textures, the skybox just a bit, the sun effect ultra cool !!
but i advice you to keep portaillables textures white !
In my last test, lots of people told me about the fact that my custom white texture wasn't very visible and it was hard to locate it !
thumbs up :)

I haven't gone thru all your other maps, so some of these elements (like the slow door) are new to me...

Level 1 has just been released
Theezakje  [author] 5 Sep, 2016 @ 1:51pm
@dmuk it is basically just a redesign of my other map series, but ok :)
dmuk 5 Sep, 2016 @ 1:50pm
Quite a design mod! I liked the overall style; just getting used to the new elements and what can be walked on is a different experience...

Ha! I didn't see the cube at first because of how it blends into the background. :)
I really like the overall look, sort of Incan/Aztec to me. A definite thumbs up. :steamhappy:
