fantastic work Alphadog, epic attention to detail and challenging enough to take it slow and methodical..i was down to just 2 sabre operators, RIP
10/10
Thank you for playing!
I'm sorry that occurred! That objective has proven to be a pain for people. The pilot is supposed to run to the VTOL carelessly even if there are enemies in the base, but sadly Arma's AI is unreliable. I however, just thought of a possible solution to the problem you had while typing I was this, but I will need to test it first. Anyways, thank you for playing and for your feedback! It's really appreciated!
And I accidentally deleted your comment! My mistake! That is the second comment that I've done that to on this mission. I'm an idiot haha.
I'm glad you liked it! Thanks for playing! This mission is getting updated today as well due to the waitUntil changes. All the other SABRE missions are up to date though.
So I accidentally deleted your comment while deleting my reply. Apologies! Anyways, thank you so much for letting me know that the patch may have worked! I'll probably just put a canMove [community.bistudio.com] check to fail the objective if the VTOL becomes too damaged. Otherwise I could just make the VTOL not be able to take damage, but that might be immersion breaking. I'll have an update out for this mission again at some point in the future!
I could not replicate the bug you were experiencing, but I've updated the mission anyways with a possible fix to the issue. Please let me know if you continue to have this issue because there is another solution I could try, but that will take a little more time then I have atm.
The trigger is set off when the pilot is in the VTOL and starts to take off (i.e. is flying). More than likely it is a bugged waypoint with the pilot. I'm working on updating all my missions atm so I'll be sure to take a look at that! Thanks for reporting the bug! I will try to post the update to this one as quickly as possible!
Thank you for playing! I plan to make more Sabre missions in the future. I've mapped out the rest of the campaign, but I still need to make the rest of the missions which will probably take a while to do.
Yes, there is. The order in which they are listed on the collection page is the correct order to play them.
Very good job
I can't say for sure, but I will look into it!
The pilot and the VTOL are deleted upon reaching the ocean, but that shouldn't make the objective fail if you completed the objectives that involve stealing the VTOL. I don't know if anyone else has experienced the issue and I didn't when I was testing the mission recently. However, the new Arma 3 update may have broken something again! :(
No problem!
I could make that as a multiplayer parameter when I fix the bugged pilot waypoint. It's pretty easy to add that!
One thing I will mention is that all players have their "carrying capacity" increased by 25% by default. So you should be able to haul a lot more equipment, but that doesn't mean I won't add the option to turn stamina off!
I will fix this issue ASAP! I've been busy wrapping up editing my other mission.
I don't know what could be causing that. His waypoints are setup for him to get out and go to the VTOL. Could be the AI being stupid. I'll take a look.
It could be ACE3, but I'll take a look tomorrow and try to figure out the problem.
