I love the map when I did manage to play it, but I now no longer can connect to any servers that stopped on KF-BeforeDawn anymore. Version Mismatch. I've tried everything to download the one they have, but no dice. This is really sad. Not much you can do, but I suppose you should know.

Im running a 3080 with an i7 9700k and i can barely hit 60 fps in this map, when i can play any other map and easily get 160+ at 1440p, i guess this map has some sort of optimization issue.

when I checked it was 35-45 FPS without monsters
if change for static meshes "max draw distance" to 500
then FPS up to ~120
but of course you shouldn't do that xD

I'll see what I can do, there is some wiggle room. But it largely depends on what the issue is.

Nice update, but now it is very demanding on the hardware. Maybe there will be optimization?

That is an old bug from a previous version of the map. Current version does not have the issue.

I was playing endless on the beforedawn map and was on wave 140 or so. I found a spot on the main big building in the middle, the one with the stairs in it. on the back wall, opposite side of the big tanks and front door, there is an area on the outside wall where you glitch out of the map and die. the area is right behind the trader pod. actually under the staircase.

it's a static map? Wondering if there are cars that will kill you or zeds, just like in KF1

I played this map on kf 1, i dont remember what it was called back then, but it was shit. Now however, its really good, worth adding to your server!

Found an issue with a welded door inside the gas station. Zeds will walk up and stand in front of it, but they won't attack the door. Eventually they turn around and go another way. Thanks for taking a look. I run a 64 player endless server with max zeds set to anything from 64-128. Generally maps with lots of zed spawns that proc quickly work the best. Otherwise players just camp the zed spawn entrances.

I'll have a look, could be some issues with spawn volume settings, derate time too long or uses visibilty checks. I have not much wiggle room with global spawn rate.

Spawns seem to be very slow, not much of a challenge on full servers.

Endless is a gametype, so it needs to be added to the map to avoid possible bugs. It is also plenty large enough for SYG area's, just not 100 of them :Dosh:

as far as i know, any map will be supporting endless mode, you dont have to edit anything.
And Stand your Ground mode, well. this map is too small to implement this.

I love this map is runs smooth and it looks great, however I ran into a small glitch in it. In the garage shop with the hoist, the 5th picture, the one door you can walk inbut can't walk out. If you're looking at it the center building the small building in the back with the building with the pool tables behind you, it would be the door on the right hand side. The rest of it runs great, however I did notice this small glitch. I still love this map.

I'm going to do another update of this in a few days as I have noticed that I made a couple big mistakes related to performance. Also I will fix not being able to jump through the station windows.

I was solo, against the final boss. I went in to lose the boss, shut it, planned on exiting the other side and found that I was trapped inside and all monsters were able to walk through the doors, but I was not.

I'm going to open up another building to enter, add customization spawns and do some more detailing for Beta 3.
