I've seen a handful of people with similar issues, but no solutions as of yet so perhaps somebody might be able to help.

I'm running the mod with Long War 2 and on starting a new game to test the setup I had a full party of humans. Sadly, two were wearing Krogan armor and had 12" necks, one was wearing Turian armor and actually looked okay and one had a Salarian body with the neckpiece clipping through her head.

I assume that there is something in place to prevent humans from spawning with these bodies, but it's not working?

Really hoping to fix this as it looks excellent and I'm really hoping to overhaul Xcom into aa mass effect game.

PS. I have the cosmetic fix patch enabled as well.

Hey, something a bit weird seems to be happening. Have a few of these allies unknown mods downloaded, and for some reason it seems to be generating my soldiers using any combinations of the different races parts. Have some that have Krogan bodies, one that has an Advent head as well as that. Any way to fix this?

(I have the fix thing above already installed, but that doesn't seem to have done anything)

hey there i tried now for 2 hour to make a krogan again in the character build menu it keeps crashing after i selected Krogan Rookie and klicked on props and then on heads
do you have any adwise for me ??

I'm having a problem where the bodies are not present. Only thing shown is a human head and a helmet.

Why I'm not sure how exactly they broke, the latest update to my xcomgamestate_unit override should let you fix them via re-equipping their armour.

Uh, I'm not sure exactly how or why it happened but my Krogans can now only select Salarian customizations after I reinstalled XCOM2. I was having an issue with them having no customizations and just being floating heads, but I'm at a loss as to why they now only have Salarian customs. Turians also have human ones. Every other Allies Unknown race seems to be working properly though so

@Insufferable: Until Kexx gives us female krogan models, yeah, we're kinda stuck with male krogan. it'd actually be kinda cool if there was a Bloodrage mechanic. they don't panic when someone tries to make them.. they just get pissed.

@Stuguy909 I'm using the assets from Kexx and E3245 and the other race assets without any problems with the (gisrunning == 1) error. I think the error lies in this mod (maybe in comliance with other mods) but it is deffinatly something in here.

It's really sad though, it has a lot of potential and brings a whole new dimension to the game. I like my Krogan characters - even without the special abilities :)

@gameknight late respone, (gisrunning == 1) error has a long running history. It could be mods, it could be hardware. There is a long running over 6 month post about this problem. The very last page has some solutions. I personally updated my nVidia drivers, unsubbed all mods, reinstalled xcom2, reinstalled the .net packages for xcom2, resubbed to my mods, optimized Xcom2 via nVidia, and I don't see the error much anymore.

Really having trouble with this mod - and I was so hoping to be able to use it for my next let's play series! Whenever I go into the game and try to create a Krogan in the Character Pool, I get the error: pure virtual function being called while application was running (gisrunning == 1) and the game crashes.

it is happening with other Allies Unknown race mods as well.

The Twi'lek mod works as well as the HK one

What I notice is, that the 'head' section isn't filled out when I choose the 'Krogan Rookie' class as it is with the Twi'lek and HK mods. Same thing happens with the Hybrid.

Any idea what is going on? I've tried without any other mods enabled, but no luck - same error happens.

not sure if im just missing something but when i go through all the props i cant find any of the krogan armor other than the helmets

@Bdbrown6900 That's not a bug related to this mod, it's something the vanilla game does to force your soldiers into the AWS to get proper treatment, like in XCOM EU/EW if a soldier took enough damage that the bonus HP from their armor got breached. THIS game chooses to ignore armor HP and just apply wound timers as if they got hurt... sometimes in a stupid manner (30 day healing time on a 1 HP wound?!)

i am having fun running these mods, but I have found a bug. When my Krogan soldier is wounded, I never wast a mekit use on them, since they do regenerate, however, he is still shown as wounded on the mission stat screen and back at the Avenger.

Question: Are these soldiers meant to be strictly male? I got a female krogan via the black market and her graphic was all messed up the way armor graphics get glitchy with this mod.

I was easily able to fix her by making her male - poof! Suddenly she was a perfect krogan specimen. There doesn't appear to be a krogan torso on her body parts list in the female lineup.

@Bdbrown6900 Check the description for a link to a non-retroactive fix, basically XCOM 2 by default handles cosmetic transitions in a way that can be cosmetic breaking for soldiers that get new armours.

I am not sure if this is the mod causing this issue, but I will start here. I am having characters showing up in Krogan bodies who are not Krogan. This is occurring both with rookies and with promoted soldiers when I got Warden armor(teir 3). I have tried changing the customization , but it appears to lock to the Krogan options regardless of the soldier.

Ok I figured out what exactly is causing the issue, this /next/ update should actually resolve it.

There is a bit of a bug with the customization of grunts options the torso just changes the legs and stays with the wrex torso, trying to change the legs just puts the wrex legs on the character. So it is the same issue that iteration 9 has.

so, selecting the faceprop for grunt is impossible, and selecting the new torso and legs also doesn't work correctly, just letting you know

@Psp: get combat knives, they're hip-mounted. also, Infantry and Shock Troopers are good choices.

and yeah, now that Kexx has put Grunt out, and a helmet, gives us some non-descript Krogan to use ;)

Is there a way to restrict the classes this can level up to? They look a bit silly with grenade launchers clipping through their armor, and with the LW Perk Pack I would prefer them to actually just pretty much be either gunners or rangers (swords look bad too)

So I was doing a retailiation mission, and my Krogan wouldn't save civilians. Tried several times, then thought: I guess that's the Krogan way. Fight or die. Just wonderd if anyone else has had this issue. My Krogan is a custom class: Tank. I have a human tank I'm going to have try and save some civilians next times, along my Asari and Turians see if I get the same.

Honestly if this issues only happens with Krogan, I think you should list if as a feature. Krogans don't give a damn about human civilians, they will not save them.

If possible, please make what you can configurable?! I use armor that gives armor, and high cover gives armor, I really am trying to stay away, and mod stuff that gives too much hp

If you're looking to nerf them dropping the HP boost would probably do fine: regeneration and the armour point already makes them crazy durable.

Onto more general news everybody wants to know:

I am considering an update with nerfed stats in some places for Krogan.

And yeah Asari are something I'm working on, already came up with an ability and stat changes for them.
