It's just no good dawg. Lighting is awful, pointless mist everywhere and a nonsensical layout. i cannot recommend this to anyone and in trying to find anything good, have not. Your work is not of any quality that is notable.

As for the doors, it makes sense to keep them closed for aesthetic reasons, but It's already pretty tightly spaced (and dark) and it further incentivizes people to stay outside.
It could work if the zed spawning indoors was changed up a bit. I found it practically impossible to kite zeds/hold up indoors on HoE (and even Suicidal). The problem is probably that they spawn a bit too close to players indoors (or there might just be too many spawn points indoors). I found as I killed a group of zeds, another would spawn just around the corner before I had time to reload. And I found myself constantly getting sandwiched between large groups of zeds as a result.
It's a minor issue. The map is still very fun to play outdoors. It's just the aesthetics indoors are so great, it's a shame to spend the whole game completely avoiding it!
This is a typical problem with tightly spaced areas on maps, but definitely not one that is gamebreaking.

Just something to consider.

I'm stoked to hear you working on Alice, Dollhouse! That would easily be one of my favorite maps if the few issues it has were fixed up!
As soon as you fix up the few stuck zeds/pathing issues, I'll make it "Map of the Week" on all my servers as well as add it to "Host Favorites". I've been debating about adding it to Host Favorites for a long time, but ultimately opted not to as zeds getting stuck across the map can prematurely end games/kill the server as everyone will opt to quit, rather than hunt them down.

And gotcha (with the noises). I'm sure the update messed up a few things. Wasn't sure what the issue was, but it makes sense the update would mess up a few things. I do appreciate things added to contribute to the atmosphere, as long as they aren't extremely loud! Heh.

Hello, the volume of the planes every certain time I do not know the reason is deconfigured and rises, I edit the map and I put it well again, but when they update new content there are always things that stop working well, even in official maps they pass this.

the doors start closed because it is a bunker in a situation of war, the normal thing is that it is all closed, because of the falling bombs and those little things

The problem of the tour in the bathroom will look at the following update, for now I am still fixing things on the map of Alice, the dollhouse

Eliminating the noise of the bombers takes away a lot of atmosphere to the map, nor would you see the airplanes that fly high, in the next update I will decrease the volume again.

3. Patty doesn't path all the way through the electric shower room. Once you get to a certain point through it, he turns around and goes all the way around to get to you. I pointed out the point where he stops and turns around (the arrow points to the door he leaves to go around the other way to get to you).

I think that's about all the issues I know of. I noticed you had an update that decreased the sound of the aircraft engines. Honestly, I think you should remove it altogether. It's a nice idea, but it's super loud and the sound itself isn't all that aesthetically pleasing. At the very least consider replacing it with a better aircraft sound, or the sound of firing and bombs (as long as they aren't too loud!)

First off, gotta say I've always loved playing this map, it's very well done! Great job! That said, there's a couple issues:
1. What's with the extremely loud noise over the whole map? I assume it's an airplane engine or something, it comes and goes. Can you please remove that? It's super annoying. The map never had that noise before, or if it did, it was always at a tolerable volume.
2. Please start the map with ALL doors open. It's pretty annoying for those unfamiliar with the map to have to open every door trying to navigate through it while being chased with zeds. It's kind of an unwritten rule of mapmaking to have the map start with all the doors open (you can see that in all the Tripwire Official maps).

You may not have the latest version on the server you played, at first the sound was very loud and in later versions it will remove volume, if you want you can do a test, you subscribe to the map, play it locally and you will be sure to play the last version, then if you want you take away the subscription.

Then that might be just my game but at start i was hearing that airplane way louder than any other sounds and it never went away and my buddy has same problem.

The Framerate Drops in some places; The basement by the giant furnace and the shower room with all the sirens in it (just to name a few).

The steam coming from the grates on the ground added in the basement causes framerate issues. I'm pretty sure I'm not alone on this (moving(?) fog/steam on any map generally creates major framerate issues for people).

Hello, in tripwire interactive there is a section for servers, if you have already done the steps of the wiki to put custom maps and it does not work, I do not know where you could have the problem, I about servants just got it right, anyway review the steps to To install custom maps, you may skip something without realizing it.

Hello, the truth is that the system of updating the servers is not very fine, my updates will be longer because the work I'm doing now causes the map editor to hang continuously and lose a lot of time, This gives more visual quality to the map and less load the server will do little by little.

Hi manolito, yes I deleted some of comments that were not important. Also I wanted to let you know the reason for the map and others not updating is due to some bug with the servers/workshop. To update the map, I have to start my server with steam closed so it can download the updates. Hope TWI fixes this issue soon.

Hell_cant_wait2 and a couple other maps have the same issue. They update on my computer but not on the server, which causes a mismatch error. I'm trying to figure if it's a server issue or workshop issue, that's why I reached out. I don't think it's a problem with your map specifically. I already know about all the fixes for mismatch errors. The problem is, is that it's a reoccurring issue even after applying a fix.

I'm going to delete all my server files and start fresh, and have it re-download everything. If that doesn't work, it's out my hands. Steam or Tripwire Interactive need to look into this issue with maps not updating on servers. I'm not the only one, my friend had the same issue with other maps not updating.

Hi, I do not know much about servers, I only have one to test the map, but if it gives that error is for two reasons, or the server is not updated, or the client is not updated, with respect to the client, it would have to update Just as with any other game, mine is updated a few times nothing more to upload it and other times it takes a little, if you are in a hurry you can unsubscribe and subscribe to it instantly updates on the server side for lack of experience with them The only thing I can say is that they take longer to update, anyway if I have the latest version and I connect to a server with older version I downloaded the server and let me play, if you want to force some map update

Whatever you have to delete the article in question from two folders on the server, which is in the folder kf2server \ KFGame \ Cache and in kf2server \ Binaries \ Win64 \ steamapps \ workshop \ content \ 232090, also the file appworkshop_232090.acf That is in kf2server \ Binaries \ Win64 \ steamapps \ workshop, with this when the server is upgraded at the moment, but it will no longer be broken, as I mentioned before I am not very understood in serverres.

Seems like every time this map is updated, it causes mismatch error on my server. I can fix it and have the server download the newest version, but as soon as you release new version, it won't download it. Not sure what's going on here.

No worries, glad you had a chance to try it out, don't worry about updating your map, update your map as much as possible(this makes your map great)... I update the servers a lot, Los Angeles server is one of many servers we run, we have 8 servers(currently)... Each server has a huge library of maps, we pride ourselves in hosting the most maps of any KF2 server out, there, currently we are at 130+ maps on each server... So you can see, I've been busy putting over 800 maps on all servers.... :steammocking::steamhappy:

bizzyJEDI, hi, I have seen that your server from Los Angeles has the map, I connected without problems despite not having the same version of map I downloaded the server without any problems, today at 01:00 AM approximately I have uploaded a new version in which the texture bug already starts to go well, there is still some glue but it seems that I will get it, your Los Angeles server that I have connected to has the previous version, but it does not matter, The good thing is that you connect and update you, that part is already solved.

Well I think I have already located the problem of the textures on the floor, it will cost me time to fix it since I have to do almost everything, but I hope it solves, regarding the problems with the servers, I think it is also solved, Now there is only one file that corresponds to the map, and the name does not change, if someone puts it on a server would appreciate it to tell how it works, I've tried it a few times in one and it worked for me.

Thank you for your observation, is very important to me, it was something I suspected, but so far no one I had mentioned, although not indicate the version of the map you have, I will upload an update to resolve the name issue forever, I'll call Beach_Invasion without the version, that'll put in the description when you update, hopefully fix the problem that caused the servers to rename the file.
