Well, basically it's either you use this mod, or your version of this unit. I don't really know who you've made the pack.

I will take a look at it as soon as I have the time. I realized that basically every reference to gra_hel had to be removed from my mod or it will conflict whenever someone tries to load it besides this one, but something is not cooperating and Im not sure yet what.

@sG-RadicaL Say, since you managed to fix this. Maybe you could fix my Grave Guard Halberdiers not being recruited by the AI? It's been a problem for me since day one.

Which is why you should delete the other db porthole table that you added, because that is whats conflicting, somehow. Not gonna lie, this stuff is still half magic to me, but this definitely worked properly for me. No glitches.

@sG-Radical when I tried to fix that, I indeed used emp_reiksguard, but the problem is you could only see the horse and it would glitch.

Haha you no problem. as someone below said, add emp_reiksguard as the porthole function in the main_units_table but in addition to that remove the db porthole table that you added (cant recall the name anymore because its gone)

Meanwhile I just broke something else and have no idea what, so I'll be a bit longer before release. Such is the life.

Hey Guv! Im working on some new units for Mousillon, one of which to be a hellsteed knight unit. I started with your mod as a base planning to only retexture the rider, but ended up making a new mount, retexturing that as well, rebalancing the unit to be slightly weaker, cheaper, and anti-large focussed, fixing the porthole camera, new unit card and well: basically only your custom weapon and atrribute group tables are as were. Would you be okay with it if I released it? Ill still credit you as an author on whose mod it was based of course.

I am seeing both the horse and rider on mine most of the time, but I can remember sometimes seeing a horse after the unit is in battle for so long.

@TrendFul You mean you'll only see the horse? That is not what I wanted. I want the rider and the horse visible. Also the porthole had a tendancy to glitch

I think I have also fixed the no portrait problem as well. It seems to work with having emp_reiksguard as the porthole camera.

Hey, for completeness, I just wanted to comment that I have fixed my problem. To change the speed of mounted units, you have to make a new mount in the tables and supply it with the appropriate battle entity, either old or new.

@TrendFul I have actually no idea. Messing around with Battle_entities is something I have only done a few certain times. Go to Warhammer forums or discussions and post in workshop section.

Also, would changing to a different battle entity change any of the animations or on-field characteristics outside of speed? Like if I used an infantry entity instead of flying cavalry.

Thank you for your response. I tried to create a custom battle entitiy like I have before with other non-fyling units, but I seem to be missing something that flying units have over their non-flying counterparts. I also tried using the battle entity for the Bretonnian Demigryphs, but it didn't work either. Any help is appreciated, friend.

@TrendFul Depends, there are two ways. one, find a battle_entity that has a similar speed and add it to the man_entity slot in land_units. Or, create a custom. Honestly I have not made a battle_entity for mounts so I can't really tell you how.

I know your just learning (you had told me not long ago lol) and jdharrow, demon spider, and red samurai are just a couple of the great mod creators who also happen to be cool guys that would always step in and help you if you wanted to learn a new technique. Then I can pester you for a Chaos War Mammoth or something haha! (As I have tried, and I have ZERO mod abilities myself....)

@Not unit card, it's unit portrait ingame :P The rider is not on the horse and it's glitching. Doesn't seem to be a fix for that as far as I've seen.

@Avadon it's a gameplay mechanic more than based on looks. When I designed the unit I felt like I didn't want it to be some lazy carbon copy of Pegasus knights. I wanted it to be able to duel higher value targets with a cost of some health since it's a flying unit. fast flying unit.

@Kyris I don't think I'll be doing that. Doesn't seem to make a lot of sense to me since they're rare and royal creatures. Undead dragons are one of the old worlds most rare creatures.

@Kyris There are mods that do this already XD Look up "Strange Dragons" And "Chosen on Wyvern". You can also check out Demonspiders excellent mod sets "Servants of Nagash" "Chaos Divided" and "Beastmen Evolved". All of these tend to add extra monster units....

Maybe if you gave the lances some sort of glowing effect........that could justify the armor piercing.

Hmmmm think they need to be balanced....as normal black knights with lances don't do armor piercing damage.

Unsure why they have to be 110 in terms of speed too but /shrug.........

Any chance of you doing a Undead Dragon unit ? I know they are ment to be only for lords but I kinda like the idea of one as a independant unit , same goes for chaos manticore , Chaos dragon and the Wyvern. seems silly to restrict only to lord mounts.
