Hey guys, I have just updated my other version of this mod that adds an inner window sill, be sure to check it out and see if its more of what you're looking for. I don't update this mod with new sprites out of consideration for people who already have it installed and like it the way it is. I agree that the sprite could be improved, but that's something to leave in the "Suggestions and Ideas" discussion, not the actual comments of the mod.

Yes, but it's not so bad as it seems. The top layer of the wall looks thinner than the bottom one (otherwise we wouldn't be able to look at the "bottom" part of the wall. It might be because the top part is actually thinner, or just "a visual effect", in which case, the bars wouldn't be as thick as you think. Also, this is still better than the vanilla sprites, which adds a window to one side, but not even a hole in the other side, essentially making a window with bars and a brick (or cement) wall in the other side.

You guys do realise that this would only apply if the bars were as thick as the wall itself, which is absurd, you basically now have double barred windows on your vertical walls....

mnI1121 & Big Pawh; Its funny you mention this, and yes, I do understand the perspective differences. I was actually working on a similar window mod as you describe, but I decided to update this one first before moving on with an alternative idea. For some people this visual appearance works, and for others it does not; this being overly apparent by reading the comments on the original mod page... Therefore, I will be sure to upload my new revised version asap.

I'm currently in the process of finishing the new sprites and still need to test, but I will have it up on the workshop very soon.

@mnl1121 I agree. There could be two sets of bars? I think one side of the wall should have bars, and the other side should have an open space. This would also require different sprites for horizontal walls, as the orientation of them would then matter.

The bars aren't as wide as the wall, so wouldn't one side of the window really be an open box (the window sill) and the other side the bars?

God, vanilla windows annoy me so much. Off center and one way... Glad the game is mod friendly.
