hey emcdunna, really like the mod man! really makes the reiksguard stand out now! i was wondering, have you considered giving them capes too? all elite cavalry in the game seem to have capes except for the reiksguard! :D

Pretty sure it should work fine. You have to enable out of date mods. I'm away from modding for right now.

You know, i did manage to make it spirally like you asked, Cataph haha. It does look better and it looks less like a candy cane.

However, it is still hilarious to think of them like santa's elves using sharpened candy cane lances.

Nothing says "I'm angry" like stabbing chaos warriors to death with a 3m long pointy candy cane. Y'all need Sigmar and Sugar in your life. And liver.

Well, most lances were apparently decorated with a helix/screw pattern, like this [itelementaryschool.com]. Which could be troublesome on the texture. What if instead of a candycane pattern \\\ it could be <<<< when seen from the side? It all depends on how the texture is replicated and applied, so it could be impossible.

If you want unloreful proliferation of reiksguard units, try other mods. They do exist.

Sure foot Reiksguard with sword/shields are a thing, just not in this mod.

Reiksguard should have more variety in units, I mean, arent they the Emprahs personal army? so what? can't they field infantry? No specialized halberdiers/handgunners/swordsman

hahaha it looks a LITTLE like candy canes, but you CAN actually tell the difference (easily) between Reiksguard and regular knights now.

Nice idea, although it does look a bit like they're going to candy cane people to death. But it's not your fault. Maybe a wedgy pattern? Wedges do miracles toward aggressive looks, if Bretonnia's any teacher.
