This API provides Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data in a signed 8-bit PNG format which works well with the game's height map import function almost as is.
I have some more validation testing to do with the OSM data and road placement, but so far the results have been very good with far more accurate placement on the generated terrain.
I will need to rewrite the documentation to provide clear instructions for getting a good result, but it's very likely I'll have this done between now and Christmas.
Can’t make any promises on when this will be complete, most of what remains to be done is to improve the accuracy of placement when applying the street data for a given height mapped region.

i am trying to import streets since 3 days...
its possible to load the map.osm from file and its possible to load the streets data from overpass.api.
it always says, data is loaded.
but when i start to make roads, then the number of streets get loaded, but i get round about 100 errors:

Details:
No details"
When the "Street Loading" is finished, then arent there any roads.
Can anyone help me?
currently my road maps tend to be limited to the original tiles. need to test more.
