@Scrub Daddy If it is what I think it is, it's part of the wallpaper. To be honest, I never noticed it that much when I wrote the wallpaper, but I think it might have to do with the monitor I had back then and that the effect is more visible depending on screen.

I will think about if I can find an easy solution for the problem. It has to do with that the wallpaper is very basic javascript, and the fading effect is problematic.

The background dims quickly and brightens back slowly about every half second

@Scrub Daddy .. What do you mean with falling edge? I haven't worked on it for years, but could give it a quick look to see if I can spot any problems.
