The Red Duke just looks wrong next to these amazing Blood Knights you made.
CA screwed up with the coloring of the Blood Knights and you fixed it.
I'm hoping you can do the same with the Red Duke.

@ Vermillion_King - Sorry it's been longer than a few days but turns out there was a backup failure on one of my drives and I've lost all my work. All my WIP and all my old stuff so I will not be able to release the Red Duke Redesign. I am just re-downloading all my uploaded mods so I can continue to update and there may be a sliver of a chance that a friend had the pack file on his computer but I'm not holding my breath. Been a week, all the best. If I do manage to get around to redoing it in the future you will be the first to know.

alright, i will do that. yea i tried sitting through one of his tutorials, he rants for a very long time before just saying, "click this, then this, and it does this". like a 30 min video i watched couldve been easily and simply explained within 5 mins lol. but alas, im sure i'll have to find the patience to spend hours a week watching them lol.

@ Lyrithus - I would recommend looking up Magnars tutorials on what each means as everyone has a slightly different way of defining them but he has a great breakdown on each. Feel free to use any of the material in any of my mods :) you will have the find the specific head model you want to call, the easiest way to do this is normally just loading in each rigid file (adding them to the head slot in the variant mesh definition of your knights) one at a time until you find the one you want and use that!

oh good good info so the diffuse file, the specular and the.. whatever the third 1 is, what are the differeces?

and if its ok with you to use your file for those blood knight helmet, the 1 with the single fin, what is the name so i can call on it instead? i'll just type that in there. and if i have your mod on when loading the game, will that conflict?

@ Lyrithus - Alright so the problem is that you're currently calling the diffuse file for the head slot. You'll want to call on the units brt_lord_head_01.rigid_model_v2 or something similar and then you should be good to go (essentially whatever rigid file you edited the skins for)! If that doesnt work I would say edit the units head rigid file so that it pulls from your custom skins that you've made. Let me know if that needs clarification :)

As you can see, I even tried to use "brt_grail_knights\brt..blah blah..grail_knight1_helmet_..blah blah as the head, and I even typed it perfectly. Alas, it still did not work.

and actually they look cool, so i was thinking they could be Fay-Enchanted Armors or "possessed by the spirits of they Fay". Might be a fun way to add a small "monster" unit to their roster.

Yea ive been down in and around through there a bunch of times. for awhile the only thing visible of the unit was the glow effect of the sword. now, Im closer, Ive got the full body and blade and all, except they are headless lol.

Im just now trying to manually type in the directory for the the helms under "variant mesh definition > open > open as text". I've been here a few times too. but im not sure if this is the best way or what lol

@ Lyrithus - Just want to make sure I'm hearing you right, you want to add these Blood Knight helmets to Crusading Knights? That would just be an edit in the Variant Mesh Definition for it to pull from the pool of helmets that my Blood Knight mod pulls from I believe. You'll have to open and edit the Variant Mesh Definition files in PFM - you should see the lines underneath a "Helm" section, that is where you will want to make your edits. Let me know!

I can not for the life of me get helmets on the templar crusader knights unit mod. I want these helmets!!! In pack file manager, -Right click> add from file> Blood Knights Full Helmets and Reskin> variantmesh> and then find the helm of these guys and add it? why cant i do that

Not sure what my issue is, but the vampiric steed (barded nightmare I belive) is now also red, instead of black... Makes some heroes and lords look really wierd. The only mods I use that have anything to do with blood knights are the all tabletop lords mod and the glory mod vampires mod... Awesome mod btw! Makes the blood knights look incredible!

Oh, I'm an idiot. It could also be the "All Tabletop Lords" mod causing problems, since that mod also edits some of the Blood Knight variant mesh definitions and variant models stuff for Blood Knights.

Just checked, and while it looks like Radious didn't change any of the same files that your reskin changes, he did change "vmp_blood_knights.variantmeshdefinition" which would probably cause some problems.

My best guess is that he changed the Variant Mesh Definitions for the Blood Knights. Currently this mod changes the definition the promote the "no bald vampires" effect. Vlad is a mystery to me currently but I would imagine it's because he changed the textures for him somehow.

Ah, darn. Both this and your Vlad Blood Knight reskin seem to conflict with something in Radious's two big mods. Not sure if it has to do with scale or just a conflict between the variant files. These reskins look amazing, though! I might take a look and see if I can figure out why they would be conflicting with the changes Radious makes to Blood Knights.

@masterslay - I know that mods like that exist, and it would be totally possible but there's a pretty long list of ideas I'm working at getting through at the moment. I don't have many free evenings at the moment but if things free up I'll let you know :)
(also feel completely free to use anything from this mod to make your own version or variation - it's all added content for people so I'm in full support!)
