Report a translation problem
I did a Red chaos version of Cairn wraith with wsmmodel modification so i think it should work.
The wsmmodel files and shaders are working again correctly, so if you still wish to update this mod.
It should work as intended.

Secondly, I am doing a mod myself, chaos black chosen which also broke around the wood elf patch. I was about to reskin the whole chaos faction. Almost done, about to release it and bam, all ruined because of that patch, because i am depending on the alpha-channels.
Oh well. point is, this thread might help you if you are an avid user of the alpha-channels, like dxt5 if i remember correctly. Havent been looking at this stuff for a while.

I dont have much time, so I havent tested this solution yet. But its a converter to change your dds files into one which can make the game read it. It might help with the tattering you made for the etherals.

I've got a feeling the woodelves patch introduced some extra thing that needs to be done to make things work. I don't know.

I know that my materials method is not working anymore and lot of skinners has same issues.
Somehow the Materials reference files & .wsmodel files got broken....
So most of might Ethereals unit are just not Ethereal anymore :/

Yes, I extracted the variant mesh of the Ghost Thane and traced back how it works.
I was a bit surprised how easy to understand CA's database system.
But that's a good thing. :)

Howerver I'm use mostly the Mortis Engine Shaders and sadly those are not as cool yet as what you are able to done. :)
But I'm hoping for a future updated of your mod which might include your vision of the "mortis engine shader". :)

Have you figured out a way to make a non-Ethereal unit Ethereal?
Through skinning or other effects?
I'm thinking of making an Ethereal Wolves unit version of the Dire wolves, but couldn't find the way yet how to make the skin look like "ethereal".
If you did or will do please let me know the method.

For me both your mod and Lokerian's mods working together.
I crashed on "Custom Battle Screen" when I had faulty database entry(mount was wrongly referred) in my mod.
So possibly it is a unit mod or different mod conflict.
