To tweak the ship to your specifications; Go into the Terminal (control panel), find the block(s) you want to appear and click "Show block in Terminal" and same for the Toolbar click "Show block in Toolbar config"
To restore the ability to pull small items from the cockpit find two blocks named "Conveyor Sorter Cockpit Entrance" & "Conveyor Sorter Cockpit Exit". Remove all Active filters and set the Exit one to Blacklist.
I understand. All the hotkeys are Grouped in the Terminal anyhow. Everything not grouped is available in the Toolbar and I think I've removed all the redundant stuff from appearing.
I'll explain the individual block macroes as the projectors seem to neglect them the most often:
Bar 1 Slot 1 ~ Drill Activation (timer block icon) set to Trigger Now
Bar 1 Slot 2 ~ Camera Scope (camera icon)
Bar 2 Slot 1 ~ Drill (just your drills. Under Weapons & Tools)
Bar 2 Slot 2 ~ Camera Scope again (bar 2 is the completley manual drill mode)
And as I've already said, Bar 3 1&2 are Antenna (enable broadcast on/off) and Beacon (toggle on/off) respectively. I'm sorry my ship wasn't as I made it, when you built it.

Right, thats been an SE problem since Projectors were introduced.
What I do is after I've built a ship and the Projector I used says "Complete!",
Alt+F10, Enable Creative Tools, and delete the built ship. Then spawn a new one from the Blueprints menu and remove&delete its inventory (ore, tools, fuel) if you want.
All the hotbars are fine if you've spawned it. Now you've technically built the thing :)
Its fine on my end, all the slots are right as I left them. Bar 1 slot 1 just toggles drills and acitvity lights on/off and Bar 3s' slot 1 and 2 toggle the Antenna broadcast on/off and Beacon on/off respectively.
Did you build it from a projector in Survival? Sometimes that can bug out and remove hotbar slots.
