Description
An easy-to-build, extreme-duty, interplanetary survival and mining ship. Vanilla (no mods) and Survival ready.

No, its not a drone but it can be. Now with 10% more unnecessary detail at no additional cost.

Cargo Containers are Code-Indexed for convenience:
In the Terminal type " MC " to bring up JUST the four large cargo boxes (all Ore and Ingots)
Useful for when you connect to another small or largegrid and don't know where your ships' Cargo is.

v3.2 (updated Mar. 19th 2020 Frostbite update) Added a Small H2 Tank. The DLC is NOT needed; Keen included the Small H2 Tank for all players. The tank only makes it quicker to refill your suits' jetpack fuel.

Features:

1. Can carry around 250,000Kg (<400k Kg total grid mass) on Earthlike and even the Alien world but must be very close to sea level. (when cargo boxes are full and all 8 drills are full of ore; equates to just under 250k KG of Ore stored)
1a. Doubles as a heavy-lift mover just build a carry handle on whatever you're moving. Mind the thruster plume.

2. Back to eight drills again as part of the frontal redesign of the ship. Optional timer block activation but now with like twice as many lights that come on.
2a. Manual drill mode is hotkey set #1 now. (use hotkey 4 for Parameter lights and 3 to for headlights)

3. Eight Large Atmospheric Thrusters for upward and fourteen Small Atmospheric Thrusters for forwards and backwards movement and six for left/right.
3a. Six Large Ion Thrusters for up and four for forwards, backwards, downwards. Two for left and right.
3b. 400,000Kg is about the maximum this ship can carry on Earthlike at 80-90% thruster efficiency. Anymore than that and you'll need to turn on Ion Thrusters and Reactors as well.
3c. Use 380k - 390k Kg total ship mass as your hard limit but don't fret, thats the maximum cargo space anyway so just keep mining until the weight flatout stops going up then offload at your station, ship, carrier or whatever you flew in on.

4. Four Large Cargo boxes for Ore storage. (note: drills store as much ore as Medium Containers)

5. Twelve Ejectors and two Ore Sorters set to remove Stone. Sorters are Hotkey setup On/Off with 5 for convenience and both are grouped individually in the Terminal for setting preferred ore filters. (recommended you do not edit the other 2 sorters' settings; they're hooked up to the Cockpit. Sorters can actually block oxygen now. I have it set to where it doesn't)
5a. Two buttons are next to the ejectors for an E.V.A. style garbage ore removal. Truly is Extra Vehicular Activity.

6. O2/H2 Generator is E.V.A. on the top of the ship for oxygen & hydrogen bottle refills. (now incl. oxygen tank)
(Location: Above the Cockpit and between the large batteries, has a corner light sitting on it)
6a. Alternatively has one Air Vent for a constant breathable cockpit.
(Provided the planets' atmosphere is also breathable of course. Even if just slightly breathable)
6b. A Survival Kit has been added on the stern for light refining, respawning, health restore and well everything that block is supposed to do. (off by default)

7. 3 blank program blocks and respective timer blocks. Add your own scripts or set your own functions.

8. Two Large Reactors and nine Batteries with a recharge button while ideling.
8a. Ship can run Atmo or Ion Thrusters on just Battery power. If you turn on both you need Battery and Reactors to power both.


NOTES ABOUT ATMOSPHERIC THRUSTER EQUIPPED SHIPS:

Just use the parachutes, thats a thing now. Make sure they're loaded with a Canvas.
Atmospheric thrusters only work close to their 100% around a few kilometers (3,000m) above a planets lowest point (at sea level) which are usually those ice sheets or the big blue lake/glacier things.
If you've got an atmospheric ship and its not performing as it should chances are your thrusters aren't even running at full 100% power.
With my ship you need almost all the atmospheric power (Atmos and Ions) to come to a complete stop from 100m/s when carrying a maximum load (see top of page) Hold your dampeners on the way down, should be okay.
CHECK INDIVIDUAL THRUSTERS IN THE TERMINAL TO SEE IF YOUR RUNNING AT OPTIMAL MAX THRUST (build info mod required for additions block information like that)

Hangar dimensions are 4x3x8 large block. Can also fit in hangars just two blocks high, the height of Airtight Hangar Doors. Snug but possible.

Has flush quad landing gear now for frame-size fitting. What you see is what you land.

Connectors are flush too so no hanging clips into A Rock Or Something.

This ship is hard to take pictures of.

Atmo only version now available. Has six boxes. Can carry 330k KG of ore on all vanilla planets and moons with atmosphere and is actually kinda fun to race

To tweak the ship to your specifications; Go into the Terminal (control panel), find the block(s) you want to appear and click "Show block in Terminal" and same for the Toolbar click "Show block in Toolbar config"
To restore the ability to pull small items from the cockpit find two blocks named "Conveyor Sorter Cockpit Entrance" & "Conveyor Sorter Cockpit Exit". Remove all Active filters and set the Exit one to Blacklist.

I do really love the ship but It seems to have a problem where some of the parts aren’t showing up on the control panel which is very annoying and I can’t find a way to fix it. another thing is that some of the connectors aren’t attached correctly and you can’t move stuff from the cockpit to the cargo containers for example. This is a very impressive ship and I would like to see these things fixed.

I know what you mean, welders have too short of range. How I get around that is I start welding from the front or the back of a grid and weld a few blocks at a time, going in a circular pattern moving backward with a small grid welder. Kinda like "printing" it, like a how a printer works.

I love this ship, but some of the conveyors are difficult to weld using a small ship welder

Maybe list the bars in the description so other people might find it easier later on? That would be a good help for other people that got this error too. Thank you for the help anyhow. :D

I understand. All the hotkeys are Grouped in the Terminal anyhow. Everything not grouped is available in the Toolbar and I think I've removed all the redundant stuff from appearing.

I'll explain the individual block macroes as the projectors seem to neglect them the most often:
Bar 1 Slot 1 ~ Drill Activation (timer block icon) set to Trigger Now
Bar 1 Slot 2 ~ Camera Scope (camera icon)
Bar 2 Slot 1 ~ Drill (just your drills. Under Weapons & Tools)
Bar 2 Slot 2 ~ Camera Scope again (bar 2 is the completley manual drill mode)

And as I've already said, Bar 3 1&2 are Antenna (enable broadcast on/off) and Beacon (toggle on/off) respectively. I'm sorry my ship wasn't as I made it, when you built it.
