Took a while to get back to this one, but gained some skillz along the way - excellent flings!

I see you figured out my style, as the Base concept of NextGen was in fact centered around the Portal 1 style of instructing, thank you very much for the comment btw :p2cube:

I understood the concept; it's much like how Portal 1 was structured: simple puzzles to teach the mechanics, followed by a "quiz" or two to get the player to use those mechanics, slowly teaching the player more and more mechanics up to the last moment before the player has to use them to escape death at up to 4000 degrees Kelvin.

Also, regarding the puzzle, I, um, missed a possibility. I overcomplicated things by trying to "thread the needle" between the topmost platform and the wall , when all I needed to do was just go over the freaking platform . My reaction [gph.is]

Thank you!

The point of these chambers is that it is like a school textbook; partial hand holding while partial figuring it out for yourself. As such, the last part was meant to be difficult.

Nevertheless, there are more chambers to come. Maybe see if those are more to your liking. On top of that, there is also a chamber before this one if you haven't played it already

We've hit some bumps in the road, unfortunately. Pyroshi's Steam had a breakdown and he lost all of his chambers >_>. However, 03 is on it's way nevertheless!

If you follow Pyroshi you should see when it comes out :p

The concept was good, but the very last part of the final chamber felt like it was virtually impossible to do as there was no area to drop into with enough distance that I could accelerate to a high enough speed to clear the wall blocking the exit .
Rating: 4/10

Note: it's spelled "laymen," not "lamen."
