thuroughly love this mod however it also seems to hand out a small number of other techs at the start (fighters lvl1 and sentinal pojnt defence. for example) which might fuck with balance.

most noteby after the devs finally fixed fighter hit n run AI there pretty effective and giving fighters to battlehsips and spaceports right off the bad tends to be abit OP in my tests. however i dont disagree with ti entirely, maybe make scouts not require any tech and fighters must still be reaserched?

also being a personal fan of enigneering giving people and rng head start on physics based point defence but not engineering based pd is a bit annoying. however i undertsand giving away PD at the start espeshally if fighters are available at start

nearly forgot: not only is it OP as a reaserch skip (imena you get this since you thankfully dint add titans) but it gives acess to other reaserch and acention perks to give players all stations (maybe make it seperate mod?)

This mod would probably be useful for helping other mod developers in checking out their own ship models to see if they're working properly.

continuing...it means i wont see Cruiser,and Battleship custom models later.

take your time beacuse the mod author new update replace the cruiser,and Battleship with the striker cruiser and battlecruiser. which take way longer to unlock Cruiser,and Battleship and some custom ship model mods like star trek, halo unsc ships, star wars empire lite ships

I will be looking into mod compatibility soon, since its a pretty frequently requested feature. It'll take me a few days though, I'm fighting with another bug in another mod at the moment. This friggan game, I tell you.

I was going through files to try to figure out problems with another mod I'm using and noticed that in Heinlein there appear to be ship cores that are unlocked by research. Would it be possible for this mod to unlock those sections in the same way it unlocks the classes themselves?

Yup, it should, but probably not with mods that add in new KINDS of ships. But ones that just change the models, ie, ancient ships, etc work fine.
