When you open religion map, when center reformation are, game crash. Also there is some gfx bug with pictures of advisors culture and religions.

I will be very frank. In around 1720 i landed with 40 000 troops in India. As Great Britain. At that point almost all world was the same tech level as i - Great Britain. I couldn't do shit, they destroyd my army. I was so pissed. I hate this. I smashed "quit to desktop" button. Deep inside i believe Paradox is becoming more and more mainstream and also absobring SJW, PC nonsense. Hope this mod gonna fix that. Thank you man

Does thid mod allow Native Americans to colonize? Just asking, because if it is please change that. It makes colonization a pain in the ass as most of the shore is taken up.

so just leaving my opnion, i like what you did to the institutions but i don't like how you did because every nation in the fucking world, except for some tribal nations, are always up to date with techs and stuff, what is kinda of annoying when you want to build a colonial empire but every big new world nation is just as advanced as you

Good mod if you're playing as a Asian or minor civ nation. Wouldn't recommend if you're playing a major power. Nations can adopt institutions too easily, the years 1805 and the Incan and Aztec still exist because they've gained western tech. They can field massive armies with western tech and my empire that spans the entirety of north America and majority of east asia can't seem to beat their insanely huge armies with multiple level 8 forts. Good concept but needs work :)

Okay, so there is this event that's titled "Institutions Reworked Update", and it says it is making a few changes and all I have to do is press "ok". And so I do. The problem is that the event keeps reappearing every few weeks or so. Other than that, nothing else seemed to change. Is this a glitch or what?

Sorry to say this, but your mod is flawed. Year 1492. No lucky nations. Humanism started in France. China adopted it already, tech group is not reformed. LOLWUT? This is even worse spread than in vanilla.

Will this mod prevent all of india being on par in institutions and tech a couple decades after portugal gets their free colony there? I hate seeing institutions spread so damn fast in asia because of that filthy event they get.

I feel like this is a little too unrealistically harsh on the north/south americans. Shouldn't they start with chiefdom, for one? Historically they were more socially developed in some ways at the time of imperial contact. I really protest the reformed north/south american groups getting a permanent penalty to natural rights and consent of the governed, as some native nations had these concepts integrated into their socieites, albeit in a defacto way and not via some philisophical treatise convincing people that they shouldn't be as exploited by the powerful as they are.

It seems like nations dont fall behind because by 1521, Asian countries were on par with Europe because the cost of embracing a new institution was only 10 ducats. That just seems a little cheap

Was playing a NA tribe and realized they don't have any legitimacy nor Rep Tradition. Because of this I can't use the decision to no longer be primitive. Anyway to fix this?

If I was to use this mod for an EU4 game with the intention of converting to Vic2, would something get messed up? I really want to use this mod but I always like to continue playing my EU4 games in Vic2.

Hi user1234, awesome mod. Just tried it out yesterday with an England game as I want to go around the world and see first hand the mod in action with natives, mesoamerican, african, indian, asian tech groups etc.

A note of curiosity for me was that as I discovered the Americas in the 1480's, most native americans had only embraced Chiefdom and Writing and were tech 1 to 3 on any category but had settled down instead of constantly moving around like in vanilla. All the tribes were 3 or more provinces large and took up most of the colonizing space. They were also all Duchy Feudal Monarchies instead of Tribal Nations (not Reformed tech group) and had had no contact with Europeans yet.

Is this working as designed?

The seperate really starts at 1600. You can see this if you look at the graphic with the red values for years. You see the empy spaces for Chinese and Indian tech really start to appear at that point.

Intention is for the great seperation to appear as a distinct in this mod. Ming keeps up for awhile then falls behind (unless it reforms).
What are you seeing (over what timeline, over how many playthoughs)?

I wish I had a great explanation for why this works now.
CPU overload? Stack overflow? Really I am not sure. I appreciate you sharing your mod list, DLC list, and error log. It helped me isolate possible problems. Without that I likely would not have been able to offer this solution. So, again, thank you.

Your explanation of the crash does not make sense to me, as I suspect it makes no sense to you.

Turns out it wasn't this mod. Sorry. It appears my saves seem to crash at a set date which differs on each save. For some reason whenever I deactiavate a mod it works again but it doesn't seem to be any mod in particular. Don't understand it but sorry!

I've experienced a different problem. I had a game as byzantium and the mod worked fine, I've played two games as Japan and in both after a certain amount of time the game will crash without warning when it reaches certain dates. Deactivated this mod and it works again :(

I have the same problem with game being stuck when I try to start it. I have mods installed, but last patch I used the same mods with this one and it worked :/

I have Res Publica, Art of War and El Dorado. I tried to start the game with only AoW, and even without any DLCs. Unfortunately it was still the same, and the game didn't start.

I'm sorry for the trouble.
I still haven't been able to diagnose the issue with @FirebatTom.

Confirmed that the issue you posted is normal (you will see this error with no mods loaded in ironman)

I am still looking at it, to try and figure out what is going on. As you note, clearly other people are able to use the mod without this problem. So the issue is figuring out what is different about your set ups. The fact that both of you report an issue despite any other mod conflicts is puzzling.

If I may ask, what (paid) DLC do you have?
I do not have all of the DLC. It is possible that there could be some sort of error there. I know that there have been issues with DLC compatibility in the past.
Would you be willing to try a load with just the following DLC:
Common Sense, Wealth of Nations, Art of War

Regardless, please know that I am still trying to figure this out. And I'll say again that I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you.

I have exactly the same problem as @FirebatTom .
I don't use any other mods, I've tried to start a new game with different nations (I've tried Austria, Hungary even Nepal) and when I hit start game it stops at initializing game. The hourglass is spinning forever, even at task manager (i can close the game with arrows and the delete key though). I checked the error log and it's almost the same as FirebatTom's.

[country.cpp:6323]: AST had no default sub-unit defined for 'Infantry' Assigning Eastern Archers

and so on...it's just a line of the whole log (It's like 5000 characters long). I haven't experienced this with any other mods yet. I have no clue what could cause this problem. I remember I downloaded the mod when the game was in 1.18 something but it didn't even work on that version of the game as well so I just simply didn't play it. I see a lot of positive feedback so I guess the problem is at me somewhere. Any tips?
