Well, I guess I'll try and fix the mod my self, its not broken, just needs a little update on the trait effects. If scarecrow gives me a greenlight I'll release the fixed version.

Hi, This is a great mod make me and AI go extra mile on the trait picking. Just did you changed the trait points and pick numbers in your mod as well? I use a More Trait mod, but when I am using yours, that mod's effect just gone. If not could you please see into that? I really like your mod and hope to play with it, thank you.

The only hint I can give is that for whatever reason, the custom habitability traits just lose any stats when this is active, and default ones are reset to vanilla.

I even tried to name your mod to go before in the load list (! in front), but it does not help).. :(

Actually I don't get why it happens, because Planetary Diversity makes its own 01_species_traits.txt. I will have to check it deeper, or someone with more knowledge with modding may help here :).

The mod is great, but I assume because it overwrites the traits, it breaks compatibility with many popular mods that depend on changed habitability, i.e. Plantary Diversity.

If you find time and desire to release some kind of a compatibility patch, or if someone with a know-how can do it, I am sure a lot of people would appreciate it a lot :).

@Aethelfrith It adds the Expertise: Psionic trait to all your scientists. Tbh, three trait points isn't really enough, its quite OP!

Figured out the problem. It conflicts with traits&ethics light. Probably has to do with the extra trait points both mods provide. With this in mind, I will just shut off traits and ethics light

I am getting the same problem as well. Even with 1.8.1. It gets to the point where not only is the trait list empty, but all the vanilla empires are missing.

This mod is for 1.8.1 and later ONLY. It will not work on 1.8.

Strange, it does'nt work in my game since 1.8. When I use it, it delete all traits in all menus (list are empty). And only your mod overwrite 00_species_traits in my mod list T_T

Every single trait mod overwrites something. I've compiled the good ones together here so you only have to subscribe to this one to get a wide variety of traits.

Great traits, but doesn't work with 1.8.1 Beta. Guess the way they changed traits into archetypes means things like this mod will stop working.

@Scarecrow I know that making a mod is very hard and I don´t want to sound unpolite but, could you do please a patch to this to make it compatible with ethics, civics and traditions mod? I don´t know why they are, but it isn´t the case with others like United traits, forbidden traits or more trait points, which add more traits and don´t seem to be incompatible at all, but (like FFU :steamsad:) that mod makes the traits unable to appear.

Great mod man really like the way you've used some of the modifers. I noticed with 1.6 your pop growth speed modifers need to be reversed and the numbers doubled. Currently they're all giving negative effects.

Like it says in the description, this started life as a tool to assist the development of my other mods. I might remove them at a later date, but unless you have an ethic or civic mod installed they aren't a bother, and if you do they are set to be overwritten by them so all I can say is....meh.

Proper release! Please note this mod requires Utopia, as in order to arrange the traits nicely in the trait list, I had to replace the default traits modding file, which includes traits from Utopia, since I have it. Doing it any other way would create weirdness. Plus, some of these traits give Unity bonuses :D.

A collection of trait mods compiled into single files, used to testing purposes so I don't have to worry about which mod overwrites which. May get a proper release at some point.
