bruh what's with the forced objective, I last played this map in 2017 and don't remember this shit in the map. I normally play on hell on earth so it was quite the surprise when I realized I had to down in that basement with a ton of zeds behind me, of course I died. please remove this and add a separate objective map

How come there's a "MapTest" entry in KFWorkshopMapSummary.ini? It's causing that to show up in my server's map list as "Incomplete".

Hello everyone!

Just wanted to let you all know that a new version (V4) is finally live and basically features some of the most requests fixes! Such as tuning down the zed spawn rate around the large house, making the repair objective truly optional, and finally better overall optimization.

Hey all!

Just wanted to let everyone know that finally after so many setbacks and trying to polish the map as much as possible before the first public release, my latest custom map KF-BoathouseFinale is finally released!

Soon I shall begin making a revision of all my previous uploaded maps to ensure that they are working properly on the latest KF2 build.

Hello everyone, thanks for the feedback. I would like to let you all know that either today or tomorrow I am planning on releasing one of my latest maps that I've been working on for already some time.

Once this new map has been released, I'll be focusing on updating all of my previous maps to ensure that they are stable with the latest KF2 build, and in particularly will be also looking into fixing this zed spawn issue alongside providing a big performance fix. So please stay tuned! :boomer:

Im not that familiar with the KF2 SDK but i was wondering, what is the cause for the massive wave in a long playround, so i had some time, started the KF2 SDK and was digging around and found that:

Under Menu View -> World Info -> World Info -> My Map Info -> Survival Objective -> Preset Wave Objectives -> Long Objectives -> [7]
WaveScale is set to 10.00000

Can this be the Problem, which leads to a massive amount of Zed's within the objective ?

The map looks good, but there's high loss of FPS sometimes which makes it borderline unplayable, and on top of that, there's shitty objective mode bs in survival (welding for example) which destroys any interest or enjoyability to play it. If you can't fix the FPS loss at least make it a normal survival map because right now it's just a map you play once and uninstall afterwards.

Yesterday i installed it onto my ranked server and found some strange bug? When there will start an objective like 'keep the area free' at santas house, it will force the server to set the remaining-zeds to a ridiculous amount?

Hello everyone!

I would like to let you all know that I'm currently near the completion of a new custom map in which I've been working on it for already some time. Therefore, once I manage to finish it off and successfully upload it to the KF2 workshop, I will conduct a revision of all my previous uploaded maps and update them to support the lastest KF2 build.

Additionally, I will be making some major changes to this map since I learnt a few new tricks, such as better optimization and making all the objectives truly optional. (this means no more infinite zed spawning for the repair object :boomer:)

I still love this map and it's new objectives and Santa voice. However I had a problem when the objective was to "Defend The Area," and it sounds like other people are having issues as well. :toriel:

I could not get to the area to defend as it was located inside the wall of the house. I got as close as possible but there was no highlighted area and it never counted me as "defending" it. Then to make matters worse (or better depending on how you look at it) the wave spawned more than 300 zeds! This was fun and good experience, but did make the round drag on for a long time and probably should be fixed. :cwat:

Hope these problems get resolved, but either way I still like and will be playing this map! :wrynhappy:

Just wanted to let you know, the infinite enemies on the round where you have to weld the object makes the map impossible on solo, at least on suicidal and higher, as enemies spawn and jump over the hedge directly behind, so you never have enough free time to equip and use the welder. Otherwise fantastic map!

:steamhappy: This map is pretty cool and well detailed! The gnome collectables were fun to find and the map was pleasing to explore. My only complaint is that there is only 1 way to the house area, making it easy to get stuck at the house and making it tough to run to that particular Trader location (unless youre camping in the house of course)

Other than that its an awesome map! The fog was extremely thick, to the point were youre pretty much just fighting silhouettes lol. But that was a fun and different experience for this game.

Anyway to rework the zed pathing? The spawn rate is really slow for HoE and zeds move away from players rather then attacking. I think recent kf2 patches mightve messed up the spawns

Map is way too bright when it's day time (zed time is especially annoying), and looks really weird when it's night (?). The blue you are using feels way too unnatural. Also, some spots in the map should really be revisited, because they're either buggy, or ruin the flow of the game.

For example, the shortcut at the end of the long way in front of the house, which has two little shortcuts to the field with the tents, got us killed most times, because we couldn't quite figure out where exactly we had to jump to get on the other site, so we always got stuck somewhere between the two sites. Another problem is the mansion, since you also get stuck A LOT with a six player team. Another connection between the mansion and the main route would also be nice, since otherwise, it's pretty much a death trap.

I am unable to get this map completely removed. I unsubscribed, removed it from the workshop folder, yet this remains in my map list in-game. Most other maps have removed cleanly. Could you tell me what else needs deleting to safely remove this map completely? Thanks.

It's a departure from a lot of other levels with a simple open layout. The snowfall and weather is beautiful and it gets more misty each wave. Thanks to the author for their effort.

I got to be honest. I was going to fast for the game and the game didn't get to download the steam workshop for it. So it turns out I need to go slower next ttime...before I get to hyped. But thank you for helpping me. Sorry to waste you're time, also the map is very very awesome. Keep up the good work. Hey roboapplejack to play any custom maps solo, first select the "Home" tab and select "Play Solo Offline", from here you can choose the map, difficulty, and so on.

For online, select the "Browse server" option, then "Filters" and choose your desired custom map.

Btw I highly suggest posting on the KF2 discussion for any type of assistance and faster responses.

Too many of the houses are similar and there are plenty of dead ends. Not being able to jump over the rails is annoying, considering the zeds do it all the time to ambush you.

We like this map. Had issues with the trader arrow though. At first it didn't show up, then it points through walls or fences we can't jump over.
