Does anyone have the track list?

I think it might just be the update that broke the Monster Ball music. I can't get them to play anymore at all even after removing or deleting all the mod files, validating and redownloading the defaults, nothing. Kind of a shame 'cause it gave me a good chance to fit in music from all the live Persona concerts.

That being said, I have to report a bug. On Monster Ball, the music on the DJ area doesn't play anymore. I don't know if it's on my end or part of the update.

I followed uninstall steps, and i still hear persona music. Im trying to change up the music, but its stuck on persona. :/

If only there was a mainline SMT version of this mod.

Hey do you happen to know what the wem file for the King Fleshpound intro is? Your mod had the Abomination intro but I was never able to find King FP's intro.

Hey, I´ve got a question for you, how did you uploaded the soundtrack ? I mean, I have my own playlist in the game, I just want to share the folder in the workshop. I tried to use SDK but I dunno how to use it.

can you post wich settings are required for each song ? i spend a few hours finding it out and went crazy.

Touhou soundtrack would be awesome actually, but hey take your time on it.
In the mean time I might give it a try on converting few touhou ost myself later on.

It's definitely much more tedious to do custom music for KF2 than KF1. KF1 just required you to convert them to .ogg with any old program, change their names to the originals, and overwrite them. KF2 makes you install and use Wwise to make them into .wem files with specific settings while keeping the track length for every song the same.

Anyway, I might look into doing another custom soundtrack with metal and/or rock Touhou arranges. There must be tens of thousands of Touhou remix albums, so I could definitely find enough songs that fit the tone of the game while still taking them all from the same source material. I could probably get them all in .flac too from the Touhou Lossless Music Collection to make sure there's no quality loss during conversion. On the other hand, as explained above, it's all a total pain to do.

Thanks for uploading custom music like this. I only came across two which happens to be yours and someone else with the anime music.

I'm rather disappointed I don't see much custom music out in workshop, but did some reading that KF2 uses a different type of audio file from the old one whiel there is a guide in making your own music, it turns out to be rather complex and uncertain if it still works to this day.

I might try it myself later if I get in the mood so anyway... I have a question:

Do you plan to add any new custom music for the game?

Nothing really changed with the mod. Just adjusting to reflect the changes made to the game in the latest beta build. Might have to do that again if they change anything with the music again.

I would wait for the finalized update to release before updating this mod since the boss tracks they introduced are not only bugged but also swapped by accident. (King Fleshpound stole The Abomination's soundtrack!) There is also been issues with the main menu theme not playing and I can confirm that it has nothing to do with this mod. Other players have reported this issue as well and after some observation, I found that The Abomination's (King FP's) song doesn't play at all.

Anyway, I'm glad to see that this is going to be updated in response to the new track additions. But keep in mind as of March 5, there are going to be changes made to the game that may affect your work.

Yeah I was able to do the boss intro with my mod just fine as well, it honestly irritates me that they changed the timing of the song and then added intro tracks just because they couldn't be assed to make the timing work with their old format.

Fortunately my Hans and Kevin boss tracks still work fine since the delay is super minor but it's still a bit annoying that they would change that along with how the boss tracks for KFP and Abomination work. Anyway thanks again.

I was able to listen to and replace what I can only assume must be The Abomination's theme, but, yeah, he's not even playing the Patriarch's theme in-game anymore like he used to. It should work fine once they fix that though.

Unrelated, but worth mentioning that the King Fleshpound's theme is saved weirdly. The opening is a completely seperate file that plays first, and then the rest of the song in a different file starts up overtop of it half-way into it. I ended up just muting the opening part and pretending it didn't exist. The result is the modded song starts up a little delayed, but, hey, it works. I think they were trying to get the music to sync up with the little boss entrance animation, but I was able to do that with the other boss themes without having to split the track up.

Thank you so much for your song list again, I needed to know the names of the boss themes. I assume the king bloat theme still doesn't work though right?

+1 For being so distracting that I died in situations that I would have easily gotten out of under more focused efforts.

I do wish that "Reach Out to the Truth" was in the soundtrack but still a great list.

If it's playing the original tracks, then just replace them. They're at *\steamapps\common\killingfloor2\KFGame\BrewedPC\WwiseAudio\Windows.

Thank you very much for this. The metal songs of KF2 are awesome, but were getting kinda old after a while. Persona has amazing music, so its really awesome to be playing with it automatically changing through the game. One thing I did notice though is that when a round takes too long for whatever reason, it goes back to KF2 music. Idk if you can fix that, but if not, its okay, still great.

How'd you upload this? I just finished a custom soundtrack mod of my own, but can't figure out how to get it into the SDK Workshop Uploader.

A handful suggestion:

1. Theme of Junes as trader time (or Jika Net Tanaka.. wait pls no) as terrible as it is, I think it's fitting.

2. As a gamer that plays Persona but not SMT, add-on for more popular songs like Brand New Days (P3FES), Your Affection (P4), Persona 5 songs , Pursuing My True Life (P4), Heartbeat Heartbreak (P4), A Way of Life (P3P), Wiping All Out (P3P), Time to Make History (P4G)(I'm surprised this one didn't made it), Shadow World (P4G), Blood Red Moon (P4U) and if we don't discriminate the anime: key plus words (P4A), sky's the limit (P4A).

3. [Opinion] Boss theme has anti climax songs (Patriarch), I suggest I'll face myself (Battle) or something else with fast-paced, Deep Breath Deep Breath should be Volter theme.

Also I'm considering donating for your trouble ;)

If you change the song names, the game won't let you join any servers, so I didn't bother with it.

great mod, love the songs. do you know where the file is that holds the song names? Was hoping i can have the modded song names display ingame

@Akko If you mean how I uploaded it, you have to use the WorkshopUserTool command line thing. Google it.
